Receta: Coliflor con papas Gratinado

Ingredientes

1 coliflor pequeño
1 papa
50 gr de queso pecorino
Para la salsa bechamel
1 cucharada de margarina
1/2 cebolla
4 dientes de ajo
1 1/2 taza de leche líquida
2 cucharadas de almidón de maiz
Sal y pimienta a gusto

Recipe: Cauliflower with Potatoes Gratin

Ingredients

1 small cauliflower
1 potato
50 gr of pecorino cheese
For the bechamel sauce
1 tablespoon of margarine
1/2 onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 1/2 cup of liquid milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Salt and pepper to taste

Paso a paso

Paso 1

Limpiamos muy bien el coliflor y lo cortamos en trocitos, igual lavar, pelar y cortar la papa en trozos medianos y poner a ablandar por separados y reservar.

We clean the cauliflower very well and cut it into pieces, just wash, peel and cut the potato into medium pieces and put them to soften separately and reserve.

Paso 2

Para realizar la salsa bechamel, primero lavamos y cortamos la cebolla en juliana, triturar el ajo, seguidamente colocar en una olla la margarina, llevar a fuego bajo y sofreír la cebolla y el ajo, también agregar la pimienta y sal a gusto, luego agregar la mitad de la leche y en la otra mitad mezclar con el almidón de maíz, incorporar a la olla sin dejar de batir, cocinar hasta que espese, retirar del fuego.

To make the bechamel sauce, first wash and cut the onion into julienne strips, crush the garlic, then place the margarine in a pot, bring to low heat and fry the onion and garlic, also add the pepper and salt to taste, then add half of the milk and in the other half mix with the cornstarch, add to the pot without stopping beating, cook until thickened, remove from heat.

Paso 3

En este paso vamos a incorporar dentro de la salsa bechamel, el coliflor y la papa, de modo que quede bien cubierto con la bechamel, espolvorear el queso pecorino por encima.

Step 3

In this step we are going to incorporate the cauliflower and the potato into the béchamel sauce, so that it is well covered with the béchamel, sprinkle the pecorino cheese on top.

Paso 4

Por último lo llevamos al horno, por espacio de 45 minutos o hasta que empiece a secar y a gratinar el queso, retirar de horno, dejar reposar y listo para servir.
