Distraerse en Paris en 1900 puede convertirse en una verdadera odisea, digna de Homero. Hay dos eventos de magnitud mundial: Los Juegos Olímpicos y La Exposición Universal.

La alegría de la gente en la calle y un sinfín de turistas que no hablan francés, complica un poco la comunicación. Esto ocurre en todos los rincones parisinos, la capital deportiva y de las artes en los próximos meses.

Amélie va en camino con la selección olímpica, los nervios a flor de piel, tiene mucha presión. Es la primera vez que las mujeres participan en un evento deportivo.

To be distracted in Paris in 1900 can become a real odyssey, worthy of Homero. There are two events of world magnitude: the Olympic Games and the Universal Exposition.

The joy of the people in the street and the countless tourists who do not speak French, complicates communication a little. All this is happening in every corner of Paris, the capital of sports and the arts in the coming months.

El ómnibus hizo una parada en Saint Germain, al conocerse el colapso de Paris. Decidieron aparcar en el café de Flore para comer y compartir un rato entre amigos. Amélie se separa del grupo para pensar y en medio de su estado de meditación al abrir los ojos, se encuentra con un hombre, François.

Ella se asusta y él dice, tranquila, solo contemplaba tu belleza y la paz que desbordas en este momento. Y si lo permites, quisiera dibujarte para mi exposición en Paris.

Amélie siempre quiso tener un retrato, por cosas de la vida y de dinero había sido imposible. Aprovechó esta oportunidad y aceptó, con la condición que al finalizar las actividades se encontrarían en el café Flore para la entrega de la pintura.

Una semana más tarde, el pintor no sabía nada de aquella hermosa mujer, solo conoció en su breve platica que es tenista. Al comprar la prensa, vio la fotografía con el nombre de la chica misteriosa. Estará en la final de Los Juegos Olímpicos en su disciplina con una mujer inglesa.

François ha llegado al complejo deportivo y coincide con Amélie antes de su juego final. Tiene intenciones de decirle su nombre, mientras ella responde - Yo sé quién eres -

Amélie y François se casaron. El cuadro con trazos de acuarelas de su ahora esposa sigue de gira en varias exposiciones de arte a nivel mundial. La tenista continúo su carrera profesional, sumando premios internaciones.

Viven felices en Saint Germain y cada semana tienen una cita fija en Flore, donde afianzan su amor entre risas y cafés.
