Mycelic Infantry are lumbering behemoth fungus. They are the least intelligent of the Mycelia and are put on the front lines as a strong defense. They are incredibly tough but slow.
The Stats of the Mycelic Infantry
The Mycelic Infantry is a rare melee attack monster within the Earth Splinter. It has good stats with three armor and Shield ability on level one. It is a great tank in Reverse Speed ruleset, because this card speed is only one and not getting any extra upgrading him.
Shield : Reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks. Attack damage gets halved (rounded up), except attack 1 which deals 0 damage, reduces the Thorns damage to 1, it will cancel the Redemption ability damage as well.
Giant Killer : Does double damage against targets that cost 10 or more mana.
Enrage : Has increased Melee attack and Speed when damaged.

 | The Mycelic Morphoid is a common melee attack mini creature with Thorn ability from level three. He cost only one mana therefore I will recommend him to use when one mana left to complete the mana cap of a battle. It will take few damage from the opponent monsters attack, which might give enough time to our damage dealers to secure a kill. |
 | The Mycelic Infantry is a rare melee attack monster with Shield ability. He will receive the Giant Killer ability from level five. He has big damage and health with armor therefore I used it as a tank. |
 | The Fungus Fiend is a zero mana cost legendary monster. It is good choice to bring it when one place left in my team, because it can take few damage like Mycelic Morphoid. |
 | The Goblin Psychic is the best magic attack healer in the modern game mode. He has a lot of ability: Tank Heal, Affliction, Silence and Dispel. Those are amazing, because we can use different strategies in different rulesets. |
 | The Uloth Dhampir is a rare ranged attack monster with the Stun ability and big stats. If he hit his target with Stun the target creature will pass it's turn until the next round. He will get the Triage ability on level five and he will heal the most damaged monster in the backline. |
 | The Mycelic Slipspawn is rare magic attack creature with Taunt ability from level one costing nine mana. His ability is very useful, because the enemy can't focus their damage into one monster. Instead he will split his damage between my Slipspawn and my tank. |
The Battle Rulesets
Taking Sides: Neutral Monsters may not be used in battles.
This is an average mana cap ruleset and three color can play: the green, red and Dragons.
The Battle
This ruleset allowed only three color to choose from, which is the Fire, Earth and Dragons), but in order to utilise the Dragons full power we would need more mana, so I choosed Camila Sungazer with the Earth deck.
I built my plan on the Mycelic Infantry as a tank in the first position and the Mycelic Slipspawn with its Taunt ability in the last position in my backline.
The Goblin Psychic healed the tank and the Uloth Dhampir healed the Mycelic Slipspawn with his Triage ability, so I used two support to protect my inner backline against my opponent.
My opponent choosed Tarsa from the Fire Splinter, who gives one melee attack and one health to all of her friendly monsters.
The red deck consisted three melee attack and one ranged attack creaures.

My strategy worked perfectly, because my Camila took away the plus damage from Tarsa monsters and the Mycelic Infantry was an amazing counter against Grum Flameblade.
His shield ability halved every melee and ranged damage, so they couldn't kill him.
Both of our tanks speed was only one therefore I couldn't miss Grum with the Mycelic Infantry.
The Mycelic Infrantry has a Giant Killer ability from level five (Grum is a giant, because his mana cost is eleven) and he will attack Grum with 10 damage on every hit. That was very nice! 😎
The Mycelic Infantry won the game for me, because he was a solid tank and his attacks are very strong against creatures with over 10 mana! 👍 😸

Yes, he is a very good monster from the Earth Splinter with good stats and great abilities. Usually I use him a lot in the Reverse Speed ruleset, because his speed is only one, so he can not miss his attacks unless his enemy is Flying or he is Blinded. 👍
