What is the essence of life??

I'm not suicidal, but sometimes I do wonder what the essence of life is. Is it jollof rice? Afang soup? Or maybe it's just a really good game of ludo?

A game of ludo

I mean, think about it. Ludo has all the components of life. You've got the board, which is like the stage for your life's journey. Then you've got the dice, which are like fate, luck, or whatever you believe determines your destiny. And of course, there's the seeds, which are like the people in your life that you move around with, some closer to your heart than others.

But then again, maybe life is more like a pot of soup. It's all mixed up and full of different ingredients, and sometimes things just don't seem to fit. But in the end, it's still pretty damn delicious.

Or maybe life is like a game of Áyò. You spend your whole life trying to outwit your opponent, moving seeds around and hoping to come out on top. And yet, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but you still want to play again.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that life is like a marketplace. You go through different stalls, sometimes haggling for prices, sometimes buying what you need or what you want. Sometimes the sellers are kind, sometimes not so much. But you keep going because you know that at the end of the day, you'll find what you're looking for.

And let's not forget about the little things in life that bring us joy. Like the smell of suya roasting on the side of the road, or the taste of freshly baked puff-puff. Or that feeling you get when you hear your favorite Nigerian song playing on the radio. It's the simple pleasures in life that make it all worth it.

So, what is the essence of life? Maybe it's not something we can put into words. Maybe it's just the experience of being Nigerian, with all its ups and downs, its joys and struggles. And maybe, just maybe, it's the joy we find in the little things that make life truly worth living.

But hey, if all else fails, there's always a good bowl of hot jollof rice and a game of ludo to lift your spirits.

It a lot more than that @alexlight
Life is learning, because the more you know, the more enjoyable is flowing through life experiences, with a better understanding of why we are alive. One day having fun with children, another helping our elders. If we are lucky and wise enough, we can escape or avoid mortal dangers along the way.

I absolutely agree with you...Learning and gaining knowledge is an important aspect of life, as it helps us to better understand ourselves and the world around us.

Life actually is like a pot of beans, sometimes it fills you up with happiness, and sometimes it elicits odouriferous gaga from your anus
