#AskLeo - do you have income streams beside the chain?

for today's #AskLeo, I want to ask you, if you have other income streams, except the blockchain? I would love to know what you do, and why you do it, and if it is profitable.

So, do you have other income streams beside the chain?
Well, even if the income coming on a monthly basis on the chain is good, I do compound it and let it grow. It is not my first mean of income, but it can be, and also it can be turned into a passive one on the long run.
My main source of income is, like for most people, my job. It gives me my monthly income, a little higher than the German average, which pays the rent, bills, and gives some opportunity for investments. I do invest 30% of my income, even if I think it is too little.
I have also some other investments, like shares in local companies, where everything is reinvested, to keep the firms grow. Besides this, we've bought some small apartments that we rent out, but nothing significant.
I'm working on getting different income streams up, as you might have seen, there is almost a daily presence on the chain. For the ones who know me, they know that I like the computer and avoid to work from phone as much as possible. Now I've installed a lot of apps to be able to be present also on the go.
This would be in short on what I have now as income streams. I want that the side hustles shall increase more compared to my current job income. If that happens, different options will open.

I have a job that does quite well for me. In addition to that, my wife has a job that pays here well too. That will likely always be our main source of income. We both get a pension if it is still around when we retire, and we both have individual and shared investments. I try to do some side work here and there, and then I have all of my crypto investments. I want to sit down with a retirement planner sometime soon as that is right around the corner for me.
