Facing adversity

Hello,

in business, in life and also here on #leo and #hive, you will face adversity. We are over 8 billion people on the planet, and each one of us is unique, so to think that we can get along with everyone or that we are equal, is utterly wrong, and this is good so.

Imagine what would be if everyone would speak the same, wear the same clothes and do the same thing. This would be the end of us as a species, as we would not any more evolve. So, we can't be liked by all or be friends with all.

One of the biggest emotions, wanted to say greatest, but it is not great it is just big, is envy.

Usually, people that can't build something, are envy on the ones who do. They think they do, but they are just trying and fail miserable and feel that the ones who succeed are lower than they are.

As the new UI brings a lot of new users to #hive and #leo, we will see that some others will start to envy the success and will try to play it down or to even try to counter it. Why? Because they are envy.

So, if you happen to receive downvotes or bad comments, ignore them, of course, if you did not steal or copy your article. It is only a sign of frustration of their incapability to deal with their own life issues, and they vent it off on you.

You could try also to reason, but this seldom gets you anything, as you just feed their ego.

There is also a saying, to test the character in man, give them power.

This applies anywhere in life, just keep doing what you do, the more adversity you have, the more probably that you are on the right track.

Regarding #hive and #leo, we are here to stay and do our stuff, no matter what others think. We keep on building, bringing new people in and making this place great.
