Happy New Year!
Hi,
as the day moves to an end, turning 2021 into 2022, I want to wish you all a magnificent 2022, far better than 2021.
2021 was a real good year in terms of finance and implicit crypto. 2021 might have been the year when crypto has gained mass traction. Now crypto has a higher valuation than the GDP of France, Canada or Italy, which means a lot for our still small world.
This year, NFTs became main-stream together with DeFi. We lost China, but it was a matter of time, till Winnie the Pooh and friends would have moved on something they could not control. Communism does not like privacy and ownership, and crypto gives this.
On a personal note, 2021 was one of the best years in my life, as growth was exponential on so many levels.
Left a job with a toxic environment, shifted priorities and managed to reach most of the targets.
On crypto level, the portfolio grew a couple of times in value, which was totally unexpected. I'm a hodler and long term investor, but had not expected to have such an increase in 2021.
On the learning side, crypto provided some great lessons this year. I've learned new strategies, learnt to deal with some type of risks, but also to take profits when the time is ripe.
Thank you 2021 for what you have done, but now it is time for a welcome to 2022!

2021 hasn't nailed any of my predictions, but it's been pretty awesome.

Happy new years and my year wasn't too bad. Of course the world still kind of sucked because of the lockdowns and stuff like that. Crypto did good though.
