Weekend experience: A time spent with an injured brother.

One should always make it a priority to lead a life that will always hold high his or her integrity right, for no soul is promised a better ending.##

It's anotther beautiful weekend to express our thoughts. I find it very honored to write about a weekend spent in a hospital catering for my injured brother. I'd experience a rough week, which extended to my weekend as my brother had an accident during a football training match.

He had just been enrolled into the senior high school about 200kelimeters far from home. He was part of his school's football team as a result they had to train as a team on a timely basis to keep them fit and ready always.

One evening after the day's class work, they had to train as usual. They changed into their training outfits and moved to the training grounds. They gegun with physicals, which lasted for almost an hour. They divided themselves into two different teams to play against each other. During the training, an unfortunate incident occurred, which involved my brother. He was a victim of the unfortunate and came out with a fractured toe. As soon as the accident happened, he was rushed to the hospital.

Few minutes after the incident had occurred I received a phone call from his head teacher reporting to me on the current condition of my brother as he needed family around him and I was the only one close enough. I quickly rushed to the hospital to ensure that all the treatment needed had been provided.

Due to the level of injury acquired, the doctors made it clear there is no other option than to perform a surgery to help with the correction of the fractured toe. I, together with my brother, spent ten days at the hospital before we were discharged.

That weekend was one of the most boring weekends ever spent. All I did was sit at the hospitals OPD spring, engaging in nothing profitable except visiting my brother from time to time to cater for his needs and demands.
My brother is kind of selective, so taking care of him wasn't an easy job, but I tried my best to make him feel comfortable even in his state.

These were some photos of the injury after a successful surgery.

This was a photo of him before the injury

These are photos of the toe after a complete healing process.

Thank you very much for passing by, I am very grateful.
