Many of you guys have noticed that despite BTC pump and price surge #Altcoins are moving downside. Its very common in the crypto world that every crypto coin follows the trend of the #Bitcoin. If Bitcoin moves towards upside then all other crypto coins follow the path of Bitcoin.

But this week the scenario is totally change that despite #Bitcoin is moving upside other altcoin is going downside. This is the case when more buyers are attracted to buy Bitcoin and ignoring other cryptocurrency.

I will discuss some of the reasons that why this case happens sometimes. There are some times when news is related to the specific coin that is Bitcoin then only the price of #BTC moves upward.

Investors confirm their position by investing in that specific coin. Many investors when they hear that good news they sell their altcoins and start moving to Bitcoin. That is one of the reason when sometimes BTC moves upward and other altcoins move in the opposite direction.

Another reason is that BTC is considered as the safest digital currency. Investors who are in the crypto world consider BTC as the safest investment as compared to other altcoins. When the market is bearish or something bad is happening then majority of the investors moves to invest in Bitcoin leaving other altcoins.

Crypto market often follows the specific movement cycle which is known as BTC dominance. When BTC dominance is high means more investors are attracted in Bitcoin and similarly when the dominance goes down then People starts moving from Bitcoin to other Crypto coins.

Why Altcoins Sometimes Defy Bitcoin's Path

Another reason for the price movement is the volume. We all know that Bitcoin has high volume and when there is more volume in a specific coin means there comes more price movement.

Similarly, there are sometime change scenario where price of Btc comes down and other altcoin moves upward. Investors may use altcoins for diversification within their cryptocurrency portfolios.

Investors know the trend line whether when it is bullish or when it is bearish. When they confirm the trend line they move to the altcoins which are more faster in price and gives more benefits. That is one of the main reason investors move from Bitcoin which brings the price down and altcoin price increases.
