And He Is Strong! | Give Me God Of War
With a little hop, skip, and jump I made it to the other side of the temple where the last chain was kept.
The only thing left to do was to rip it apart. Kratos, with all his might, yanked the thing loose and the realm tower came loose.
Now, all that’s left was to flip the tower and hence the Jötunnheim tower should be back in Midgard.
The return journey was perilous. The room tuned into a death trap and the Draugrs and Brood were gushing, as if somebody was coming to collect their debt.
The reward for survival was an amazing Runic attack. This one is the Hyperion Grapple. Basically, this attack mimics the one Kratos could perform with the Blades of Hades. But, here Kratos could use it to Grapple enemies with the Chaos Blades.
The two guardians were in a different pose, as if asking the man not to get angry. They bend one hand up and the other by their side.
Kratos went closer toward the sigil and with all his might and all his strength, he flipped the whole tower.
And he was strong, so the flip was successful in one try. Now that the realm tower was flipped, the only thing left to do would be to find a stone that would take them to the realm itself.
Kratos and Atreus climbed the flipped tower and entered upon a dark room. A shiny bright light swept across the room. On closer inspection, it was a spell that held a stone.
Fortunately, once they made out of there they stumbled upon an alter. It was Tÿr’s. Once their broke the spell, they found that a stone was in the centre. Kratos didn’t know what it was. Mimir asked him to show it to him. Kratos obliged and Mimir, after his eyes fell onto the dark stone, was utterly shocked. This was a unity stone, Mimir proclaimed. One with which the user could travel to any realms they could, even to the realms between realms like the dwarves. Fact is, this stone was possessed by the Giants and they entrusted it to Tÿr, an outsider. That’s how desperate they became. Mimir told that Tÿr could travel to any land, any realm, at any time and that’s because he went to his own path. Usually, when travelling in the “anywhere doors” one must never stray from their path as told by Mimir, but Tÿr did the exact opposite!
And so, this stone was what they needed to get to Jötunnheim.
And so, the next segment is where the story would end up complete, so I decided to get to the Valkyrie location.
But, to get out of there, they had to see if the stone actually worked or not. Kratos kept the stone away and their surrounding lit up, it turned out to be the realm shift room. They got out and quickly entered the
Mystic gateway and this time they strayed from their and jumped over the ledge.
They landed on another bridge after falling for a solid 12 seconds. To their surprise, they were in a realm where they found a realm tower. Mimir pondered about this, if you wanted to keep something out of the realms so no one could reach it, you just cast it out of the realms so only you could reach it.
But, now, to get out of this place and get that tower activated they would have to complete Tÿr’s challenge.
This was a challenge even my friends had warned me about as a death here would mean that I would have to complete all the levels from the beginning. Hence, this might be a challenge even more difficult that the Valkyries as we couldn’t progress further if we get stuck here.
And I completed it on my first try 😁. The reward was a Runic attack. This attack would basically create a room to breathe in for me. When up against a horde, kinda like the challenge I just completed to get it… now I would never need it as I wasn’t going to face such situation again.
And so, we left the Jötunnheim realm tower, a fully functional tower that could be used to complete the journey.
The bridge of Tÿr’s temple had shifted and locked with Jötunnheim tower.
But, as I had mentioned. I had one last fight to complete before I get off the game once and for all.
As my initial criteria to finish the game, for real, was a single motto, “ALL THE VALKYRIES MUST FALL AGAINST ME” and that was becoming a reality😉.

The best saga without a doubt. Although I find the games from the Greek era more fun, I like Kratos' personality in this game much more. You can see his evolution but he is still Kratos

Yes, Kratos did evolve in so many ways. From seeking vengeance to refraining from it. I just hope I get to beat this last Valkyrie soon.

I have played all other parts of god of war except this one and although the graphics looks better and even the fighting style is more advanced than previous ones, I still miss his twin blades of chaos and the fascinating combo he does with them. Very nice gameplay by the way, those challenges are the major things that makes the game very difficult, right from the part one (in my opinion)

Thanks, I have been playing this game in the highest difficulty which if Give Me God Of War where your average common enemy become the level of a Dark Souls boss. 2 hits and you are dead, 3 is the max amount of hits you would be able to endure. And, I’ve also eliminated 7 of the Valkyries throughout the realms in this high difficulty. I plan on beating the Queen Valkyrie herself but that should take “a few days” before I put her down.
Therefore, my strategy and perception in the game has changed a bit.

Damn! This is very wild and I will probably not enjoy the game this way but I'm guessing you have already cleared the lower difficulties and looking for something more challenging?
It's great to read about your progress in the game and your determination to complete your mission, especially when it comes to taking on the Valkyries.
I noticed other posts of this game, someone else was talking about this game as well if I'm not mistaken and I saw better screenshots in his posts but I see your screenshots in poor quality. Are you playing in a low end device or are you unable to take better screenshots?

It’s due to the pockets of bad internet I get during stream. And also that I’m streaming from ps4 so I got a 720p res cap with 60 fps.
The 8th Valkyrie is done and dusted. I’ll be sharing the battle today. Do keep a look out for it😉.

I do, but everytime I forget when the action gets intense. When my HP gets to critical, all I know is I must dodge🙃.
Haha, it can get pretty intense in those moments. Dodging is a good instinct to have when your HP is critical. But I hope you can give us better screenshots of your play which definitely makes the post better and your readers should like that as well.
