Battle Mage Secrets | Rules : Even Stevens! | Splinterlands
Hello, Splinter-cells. I hope you are doing well.

After almost 2 months of playing this game, you could say that I'm enslaved to its allure, consumed by its captivated grip. With each hour, I turn towards the screen, filled with a hunger for yet another battle. And when the amount of battles meets its end, the yearning for another battle forces me to consistently look back, to be ready when the time for battle arrives once more.
To fuel this burning desire to battle I needed to upgrade the cards and attain more power to brave the higher ranks. I spent about 16 bucks and rented a few Alpha junk that allowed me to sit in this Gold League. The sad part is, they needed to be rented and they are shit expensive. After I bought the cards I continued to battle.
From those battles, I found another that is worth sharing. This game was another in the Silver League I.
And before I move on with the post I just wanted to show you guys that I reached Gold 3, yay. The game for the most RP rewards is going to come out the day after this post gets out, don't miss it!
There was an additional rule along with the rule in the spotlight:
- Equalizer: The monster with the highest HP would make all other monsters have the same HP.
- Even Stevens- Monsters that cost even mana can be used in battles.
There was a rare incident in this battle. You can see that all the summoners were available this time, I was fortunate enough to not face any players who would've had Dragon Summoners. I, as always, went with the Thaddius Brood.
Tank: Dumacke Orc(Ability: Shield).
Attacker(s): Arachne Thug(Ability: Reach).
Magic Caster(s): Venari Bonesmith(Ability: Leech, Poison), Revealer(Ability: Stun), Magi Of Chaos(No Ability).
Ranged Attacker(s): Ravenwood Warden(Ability: Protect).
Keeping the Dumacke Orc in the forefront was the most logical thing to do, it reduced the incoming attacks and tanks to the Equalizer rule, and its HP was boosted through the roof. Next, I wanted to strike the opponent right where it would hurt, to their HP. So, I got my Magic casters and their HP would increase subsequently. One worrisome fact lingered in the back of my head: what if they get Thaddius Brood? That way, my attacks, and attackers would be reduced astronomically. But, fate had other plans.
Opposition Team
Summoner: General Sloan(Ability: +1 attacking for Ranged attackers only).
Tank: Chaos Knight(Ability: Shield).
Attacker(s): Luminous Eagle(Ability: Reach, Flying), Celestial Harpy(Ability: Opportunity, Flying).
Magic Caster(s): Time Mage(Ability: Slow).
Ranger Attacker(s): Venari Crystalsmith(Ability: Tank Heal), Pelacor Arbalest(Ability: Double Strike).
Right off the bat, I could see a few errors in his approach to this battle. First: his overall mana cap was not fully covered.
Second: None of his attackers were protected except for their tank.
This meant that the moment his tank would fall, his entire body of attackers would collapse.
The abilities of the summoners were introduced and the battle was on. My Orc takes damage by 1 while my magic casters do their part.
The Arachne Thug does his part in reducing the Shield of the Chaos Knight.
My Magi of Chaos eliminated their tank and it was their eagle that ascended to that position. You could say that it is a mini tank. The last turn was my Ravenhood's, his attack landed and the Eagle's HP was down to 3.
The next round arrived. My Arachne Thug went first and eliminated their eagle.
Some more turn later, his Celestial Harpy was taken down effortlessly while his Arbalest and Crystalsmith struggles to cope with the attack and damage they could give off and put off.
Since the Ravenhood got his attack in the end, things were easy for the Arachne Thug when it charged the Time Mage.
The Bonesmith eliminated the Time mage and everyone was back to their normal Speed.
This way, their Pelacor Arbalest didn't get the opportunity to get an attack in as the Arachne Thug charged for one last time.
As I had expected, once his tank falls his structure of assembled attackers would crumble in no time. My tension of a potential entity that would affect all my attackers did come and greatly affected the overall sequence of attacks in the battle. But, his deck had no depth for which he would have a fighting chance, by depth I mean a monster that would hold onto the attackers in his deck while damaging the opponent, like my Ravenhood.
Well, that'll be all for now. See you legends on the next one!

This rule is very particular and sometimes it can get complicated, but you explained your battle well, you just need to improve the format of your post and learn a little more about Markdown, otherwise, good post.
