First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all đŸ„ł. I hope you’ve had a great celebration like I did. Letting go of the past year’s burden and opening with year with a more hope-filled heart.
With the start of this year, I hope you have your resolutions that you would crush this year. The last year went away in the blink of an eye, hope this one lasts longer 😅.

Today I have, what you may call, the “quickest” battle of all time. This battle is so short that I only reached round 2. The mana cap wasn’t that low, but the number of enemies was low. It was more of a “harder they are, quicker they fall” kinda match.

Below is the key moments of the battle and at the end of the post is the Battle’s link.

The Battle

Right, so. This time, I took the Tarsa faction and the opponent had Thaddieus Brood. The mana cap was 15. A decent mana cap. I chose Living Lava as my tank, Serpentine Spy in the second place as it was my offensive card. At last, the Radiated Brute. The plan was: the heavy weights should take the damage while the Serpentine Spy, along with the other 2 monsters, would attack until their health was finished. Spy had it’s HP at 1, but it’s attack was at 2. A high attack yielding strategy.

The opponent had Cursed Windeku(not surprised) and the Silent Sha-vi, an actual serpent. Not a bad strategy in my opinion. To absorb and counter the attack while keeping the damage at bay. It would’ve worked, his strategy, but not for the monsters with an attack of +3 and +4, like mine. It would’ve worked against monsters with an attack under +2.

Round 1-The Beginning

The traits were exchanged. My with my +1 attack and +1 HP, him with his -1 fireball attack and -1 HP on my cards. So, a net of +1 attack on my cards was achieved. This made the attack on my cards more deadly than the Windeku’s counter.

The match started with the Windeku on my Living Lava and the opponent’s serpent Sha-vi attacking my Brute. And half my plan was complete with his demise. Now, the attacking was the best course of action, and the frontline defence now.

The Serpentine Spy got the actual serpent, even with an HP of 2 it’s one shot from either of my cards.

Round 2-The End

The round opened with my Living Lava hitting the Windeku. The counter was of a -1 HP. A damage reduction on the counter too!

The last hit was from my Sperpentine Spy to the Sha-vi. And, the Sha-vu goes bye bye👋.

The Living Lava delivers a powerful strike, an attack with a +4 damage. It’s counter has had a -1 HP reduction.

Round 3-Fr The End

The Windeku gets its last hit on my Living Lava, a -1 HP only. The Serpentine Spy did its job, getting the Windeku out of the picture and got taken out as well.

The plan worked perfectly throughout the battle but the one thing that perplexed me was the Windeku’s reduced attack. It continued to deliver a +1 attack on the Living Lava. I guess the plan went too well.
