We Can Go To Different REALMS!? | Give Me God Of War

Hey gamers of Hive, I hope you're doing well.

After a few days of rest, I'm back again with an action-packed gameplay of God Of War with a journey that's sure to make you shake with excitement.

At the end of the post is the gameplay and down below is the full contents of the gameplay. Without further ado, let's begin.

For the first 21 minutes of the gameplay, I was in the same spot near Sindri. The enemies were super difficult and each time I tried to take the battle in different places like at the top of the hill where they would throw projectiles or behind the hill where they couldn't see me but it failed each time.

So, I started to be more aggressive and tried to finish the Draugrs where they spawned.

For this, I found a Nornir chest nearby and opened it up. Its runes were spread out near the Sindri's shop area but it was tricky.

I gave up after finding only 2 such pillars with runes in 5 minutes.

I started to go in other possible directions.

I found a gas-covered area and a black and red chest that usually contains Soft Svartalheim Steel but this place had another chest that was covered by trees.

It seemed like I had to progress further into the story to be able to open it.

At the 34th minute, I stumbled upon a restricted area that was covered by gas. I threw the axe and saw that there was the final piece of rune that I was searching for. I tried all the rune combinations until I opened the chest.

This time it gave me a Horn Of Blood Mead, this one increases the rage bar. Need 1 more to increase it.

I went back and wandered a bit before stumbling onto the right path once again. There was another black and red chest.

This one had Arcane Braces. This wrist armor would reduce/increase the Cooldown effect.

I found that it was another dead end. Luckily, I had the layout of the place in my mind from going here and there and traced my way back, freezing the gas poles. Once the gas pole was frozen a raven had spawned.

I remember clearly, beating a raven with my hammer proved difficult and now the game wanted me to beat one without it.

The fight there lasted from 0:39:15 to 0:47:16, I was close to at 45:15 and could've ended things there if not for a mistimed reach with the hammer.

I went down the path of the story's journey. During climbing the cliff, I remembered that there was still I route that I didn't explore.

I traced my way back and found a locked chamber. The objective said that there were a total of 7 and I found 2 of them. My friend told me that a surprise awaited me there.

I went back to the cliff area and climbed it. On the frozen ground, there were 2 dogs and self-healing Draugrs. I only threw my axe and avoided confrontation. I figured that I was low in HP and needed to conserve it and while doing so I hit one of the red vases that exploded instantly.

I roamed the place and found that I could do nothing so I went to the big gate and opened it. Atreus was looking at the flank, seeing if their flank is ambushed or not. Kratos couldn't open it thanks to the big Yeti that broke through it.

It spoke something in the language of the Midguardians and just the Atreus jumped into action; striking the beast in the eye with his knife. Kratos used the axe and somehow put down the beast.

Atreus looked back with a sigh of relief but it turned into dismay as multiple Draugrs appeared, and the big ape spurred back to life and gave out a loud war cry , ready to strike.

The battle had started yet again. This was probably the third most difficult battle that I was stuck on. The battle lasted from 0:52:47 to 1:07:17. Between this time I had switched some of my equipment to try and see if that would help but no, the problem lay in my strategy. I didn't use the rage mode because my friends and I were on a call that was one thing they asked me to save up for the future.
What I did was, draw the Yeti close to the big red vases and exploded it right when it got close, that way his HP went down quickly and I got the final blow down.

The remaining Draugrs were easy to take care of as I only battled them with the axe throw and avoided the one-on-one. Couldn't risk the strike. Funnily enough, my remaining HP was only a slice left.

The dropped rewards looked like pretty pearls just lying on the floor, begging to be picked up.

I got a legendary pick-up called Frozen Flame, this thing had the rage of the fire and the temper of ice. It would be the perfect thing for my axe.

I got an enchantment called Symbol Of Truth, this enchantment increases Strength and Runic by 3.

There was another chest nearby, this one gave me a common chest armor that increased the cooldown effect.

In the corner of the place, there was a puzzle that needed solving. There were 2 gas-releasing poles and I could only freeze one with the axe.

Upon closer inspection I saw that one of those poles had a red vase that could be used to explode it, I did and found a golden chest but this one doesn't give the Apple or the Blood Mead. This one gave me the Light Runic Attack called Charge Of The White Bear.

The big red gate was opened and a new location was reached: Mountain's Base. I was low-key surprised to see the red door still intact even after the huge smash of the Yeti.

I roamed the place and only found dead ends.

I kept searching for the right path until I came close to a dark apparition that had blocked the path of a bridge. Kratos ordered Atreus to stay away from it but the boy rush towards it and hit his body with it but could not get to the other side. Atreus points out that the witch could get them on the other side. A familiar female voice said, "My magic is useless against the black breath and there's no way around it".

Atreus rushed towards the witch with excitement and asked what she was doing there. She put a hand on his shoulder and said, "Helping you in finishing your journey". Kratos asks why she had come after such a long time, she said that she was busy helping a friend they stroke down earlier.

She further discusses the black breath. She said that the black breath was a corruption of magic that even she cannot dispel. Only the pure light of Alfheim could break through. That world is bough, she asked them, "What does this gold mean to you?" Atreus replies, "Everything". Kratos asked her reason to help them, she said, "Maybe by helping you I'll make up for a lifetime of my mistakes or maybe I just like you". Atreus asks innocently, "Even though we shot your friend?" she replies, "Even though you shot my friend".

Kraos asked her where they would have to go. She told them that they would have to go to a realm beyond their own.

The trio goes back to the path where the trees had blocked the path.

She uses her magic and removes them from the path.

Then they hopped onto a wooden elevator. Tyr's temple was just ahead, it was from there we would be able to jump in the other realm.

As soon as we landed, we were near Sindri's workshop. I saw that there were unused health stones just lying about. I felt happy that I didn't use them when I had the opportunity to and now they came in handy. (1:16:50)

We went to the door that was near the shop area and came to the edge.

The witch points her bow toward the blue glowing stone and said the words, "Diosa" and a bridge formed between the two points. She said that her bow string was soaked in the magic of Alfheim, crafted through Elven architecture. It could reawaken the magic of the elves.

We made our way back to the golden bridge, where Brök's workshop would be.

I took the opportunity to read out the phrases written on the walls that Atreus could not read the first time we came through there. One of them was from Niflheim, a foul place of ice and mists and dwarven mischief.

Kratos opened the door wide open and saw the shop of Brök which the witch called "The Temple of Tyr". It was closed.

She went to the side and asked Kratos to go down to the first level and turn the bridge towards the right. I suspected a huge change in the scenery and roamed the place to not miss anything that could be present nearby.

Then, I finally headed down, and the witch created another bridge. Kratos crosses it and finds the roller wheel off the track.

The witch asked him to get in on the track and keep turning the bridge.

Atreus seemed impressed with the sheer strength of his father and he clears it for the witch when she asked if he was tired, he said that Kratos had always been this powerful.

Once the bridge had been aligned Kratos locks it up and heads upstairs. Then the trio heads inside where Brök's shop. She went to the edge of the outward-facing side and drew her bow once again and made a bridge. The witch said that there were only a few nox of magic remaining and so the bow stopped glowing.

She took the string and used her magic to make it glow again, she then asked for Atreus's and used some of her magic to make it glow. She instructs him to infuse the bow string when they have the light of Alfheim.

The room was very dark, the witch said that this temple had been asleep and underwater for almost 150 winters. It needed only the light of the Bifrost to reawaken.

And finally, we unlocked the Realm Travel Room.

What we were seeing before we represented the temple in which we stood as well as the real towers that encircle the lake of 9.

All 9 realms exist in the same physical space, reflections of each other. These doors, the towers outside, and the 9 realms are all intertwined and co-existing on the branches of the world tree. Separated only by the Bifrost light of Alfheim. Only this place(the room) can focus and control that light.

Atreus asks if the roots represent the world tree. She denies it and continues to tell us the lore of the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is bound to the fate of the World just as they are bound to it. The Tree nourishes their soils. The dew from its leaves feeds the valleys and rivers. The tree's very existence supports all of creation along its boughs. Its life energy is interwoven into the tapestry of life: birth, growth, death, and rebirth. Every strand transcends time, transcending space, and everything comes back to the tree. And, that's how it all worked.

The bridge Kratos pushed outside and turned the wheel towards Vanaheim.

As he started to turn the wheel, the bridge turned to Jötunheim. There was no bridge tower towards Jötunheim and that's why traveling there was impossible. Without the tower locking onto the bridge, the sequence cannot begin.

Now, he must turn the wheel towards their actual destination: Alfheim. The wheel turned the bridge outside. Therefore, the wheel turns the bridge and the bridge aligns with the different realm towers on the lake outside.

And as such, every room has a travel ring that unlocked the bridge to that realm. The witch gave us the ring to Alfheim, so now we could lock onto our new destination.

The lock was complete and we were ready to traverse through the realm. She reminded us that we had to take the Bifrost, we don't want to lose that.
The realm tower bridge aligned and the realm between realms was about to open.

Each realm has a corresponding one that focuses and amplifies the power of the Bifröst, opening the bridge to that realm. That's why realm travel is only possible from this room.

And so, we traveled to the new realm.

The Birfröst was dark meaning it could only be used once. There's no going back until it has been replenished with the light of Alfheim.

The three stepped out and the witch welcomes the father and son into the beautiful realm. When she turned around, the witch notices an irregularity in the light, she said that it could barely be seen. That light was housed in the heart of a ring temple and that was where they needed to be.

Just then she started to glow, her body was getting covered by light, and soon pulled off her feet and towards the gate of the temple. As she was being pulled Kratos held onto her as she gave her final message: "To restore the Birfröst magic, you must step into the light but be very careful not to get caught up in the---". Before she could finish she was pulled away and into the realm where they came from.

I roamed the place and got an experience of the place firsthand before moving on to the main quest. I saw branches that would rejoin themselves soon after they would be severed. I learned that all the branches needed to be cut if I wanted to make it work.

I saw more writings on the mountains. Atreus translates it and says that it was something about an eternal war.

Later, I strolled through the bridge and onto the mainland. This was where I faced my first nightmare, the ant-people. One of these ant-people impaled a white elf and flew him up and threw him downwards. The man landed with a thud but didn't move anymore These enemy types were arguably the hardest ones to fight as almost every one of them could fly.

They could launch a beam of ray that would incinerate you and cause a blast effect. My fight began from 1:36:12 to 1:41:13 after which I decided to take sum rest and leave the main part for the next gameplay.

In the end, I found another chest that was inaccessible.

And that’s all there was in the gameplay.
