Hello everyone, here is my participation in the LMAC Round 208 of the Let's Make a Collage contest, which is an initiative of @shaka and @lmac.

Rita is a very dedicated archaeologist, she was assistant to the renowned Dr. Rif, with whom she discovered the wonders of this science. Already accredited, she started her expedition with her team, who did not fully trust her because of her youth. She prepared her project and with insistence, it was approved, but despite her dedication, time passed and she did not find the lost city. She received notification from her superiors that time had run out and that the investigation would be suspended. With sadness, she went through the spaces for the last time accompanied by her faithful friend Cinnamon. On the way she saw a light that caught her attention, Cinnamon began to dig and they fell into a cave until they reached the bottom, there was humidity and they followed the light until they found what they were looking for. There, paralyzed, she observed again and again her discovery, the mystery had been unveiled.

Ya acreditada, inició su expedición con su equipo, quienes no confiaban plenamente en ella por su juventud. Preparó su proyecto y con insistencia fue aprobado, pero a pesar de su dedicación, pasó el tiempo y no encontró la ciudad perdida. I looked for several minutes at the image provided this week by @shaka and I was attracted by its decorative richness, the imposing sculptures and full of details, without hesitation, I decided that the sculptures would be the important and main pieces of the collage. I managed to successfully extract the six figures from the image, using the eraser and magic wand tools to remove the background. Then, the question arose: In what scenario? and I came up with a cave. With images from the #LMAC library I built the scenery I wanted for my figures using the transformation tools: move, rotate, perspective, and flip. The sculptures were added one by one to their location and then I worked with the color tools to give color balance, chromatic tones, and saturation, as well as variation of color levels, making transformations and coloring again in some pieces. Finally, light and shadow filters were applied until the desired result was obtained.

Observé durante varios minutos la imagen facilitada esta semana por @shaka y me atrajo su riqueza decorativa, las esculturas imponentes y llenas de detalles, sin dudarlo decidí que las esculturas serían las piezas importantes y principales del collage. Conseguí extraer con éxito las seis figuras de la imagen, utilizando las herramientas goma de borrar y varita mágica para eliminar el fondo. Entonces, surgió la pregunta: ¿En qué escenario? y se me ocurrió una cueva. Con imágenes de la biblioteca #LMAC construí el escenario que quería para mis figuras utilizando las herramientas de transformación: mover, rotar, perspectiva y voltear. Las esculturas fueron añadidas considerando una a una su ubicación y después trabajé con las herramientas de color para dar balance, tonos cromáticos y saturación, así como variación de niveles de color, haciendo transformaciones y coloreando de nuevo algunas piezas. Por último, se aplicaron filtros de luces y sombras hasta obtener el resultado deseado.

What a colorful narrative. The collage is terrific. We see it all--the broken statues, the artifacts, the cave. The bright light of discovery.

As a side note: That dog was actually named Mocha, the owners told me. Not that far from Cinnamon. 😇
