A short break around Lake Hallwil

I hope you are all well and have a nice day. Lake Hallwil is really a place for walking, the lakeside path is not really difficult and leads directly along the lake. The Lake is situated in Switzerland along two cantons; Aargau and Lucerne, in about five hours is possible to walk around the lake, with a bot or a shif surely much faster.

Der Hallwilersee ist wirklich ein Ort zum Wandern, der Seeweg ist nicht schwierig und führt direkt am See entlang. Der Hallwilersee liegt zwei Kantonen entlang; Aargau und Luzern, in etwa fünf Stunden ist es möglich, den See umzurunden, mit einem Bot oder Shift sicherlich viel schneller.

In the harbour you can rent pedalos, rowing boats, motor boats or stand up paddling boards.

The shore of the Hallwilersee may not be built-up, so the shore hiking trail around the lake presents an amazing natural landscape. A relaxing route along the beautiful, largely undeveloped shores of lake offers many fascinating highlights.

A particularly beautiful attraction in Beinwill am See is the Hallwil Castle, built in the 12th century north of the lake, one of the most beautiful and most significant water castles in Switzerland.

From Hallwil Castle it is only a leap into the unique nature reserve on Lake Hallwil, here a reconstructed pile building house.
