Many Maramureș sights in Romania are quite easy to visit, preferably by car, so you can stop wherever you like to take a break. Maramures County is a histirical region know also for its picturesque landscape, borderd Ukraine to the north and northeast. There are many accommodation tourist options for the region as well as many good restaurants with fine food. You know I love traveling around Romania, whether you come from Sathmar, Cluj-Napoca or Bistritz, at all three main entry to Maramures you can finde imposing, crafted sculpted wooden gates. Landmarks of a region is wood architecture it is the greatest wealth here.
