One of the most beautiful place in Switzerland
Montreux is one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, situatet along Lake Geneva with a beautiful location on the lake and a breathtaking view to the Alps, in the southwest of Switzerland, certainly a reason to have a stop here. It is very easy to reach by train or car. Did you know that the Golden Pass Classic train, the jewel of the Golden Pass Route, runs daily between Montreux and Zweisimmen. The luxury old train with its Belle Epoque cars also has a wine bar railway.
With its colorful flowery promenade, many artist sculptures and its Belle Époque style architecture buildings, it is a real quiet holiday paradise.
In addition to swimming, boating, camping, casino, jasfestivals, climbing from Jaman to Rochers-de-Naye, there are also very many hiking possibilities with wine degustations along the way a dream to be here.
