The unique fountains in Aarau
For today I invite you for a tour along the wonderfully decorated fountains in Aarau.
Even if the "Maienzug" parade is this year are cancelled due to the currently Corona situation, the beautifully decorated fountain makes us today however happy.
The "Maienzug" a traditional children and youth festival is the most important day in Aarau and takes place every year on the first Friday in July. The end of a school year is celebrated, enjoy your holidays!

What a splendid way to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of the Holidays! So much has been taken away from us because of COVID, but, the children need something to keep the normalcy in life.
What a wonderful town, Aarau is with all of the decorated fountains !! So festive and everyone can enjoy the beauty! I love the Swiss town in the northern part, a delightfully German-influenced decor for sure! Thank you so much for sharing the loveliness of your town!!
