The way to hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe

For today the second part walk of Gaztelugatxe island Overlooking to the Atlantic waters of the Bay of Biscay in the middle of the coast in Spain. The 1,000 year old hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is a magical place to visit in the Basque Country. Surrounded by impressive cliffs, this small island is located just 35 km east of Bilbao.
The stone bridge with 241 steps brings us to the small chapel with an amazing view. Add to this an fantastic weather.

Is also known as the castle rock, during this day tour, I think back quite relaxed although the many narrow, winding steps up have already needed a lot of energy, but the views of the sea and the breathtaking scenery from the top has absolutely rewarded all of us.
