With the Goldenpass Belle Epoque Railway to Gstaad

For today a perfect railroad romance with the Golden Pass Belle Epoque train on the route Zweisimmen- Gstaad during this Weekend. Gstaad is a small very luxurious village in the Bernese Oberland at 1050 m above sea level, mostly car free, part of the municipality of Saanen in Switzerland and one of the highest places on the route of the Goldenpass Railway.
The train, built in the Belle Epoque style, combines the ambiance of the 1930s with a modern comforts. When you are in the surrounding area do not miss a trip here and enjoy a stylish journey with breathtaking views of the Vaud Riviera.

Belle Epoque is a reproduction of the Golden Mountain Pullman train.
Already in the thirties there took place the first trips on this route Zweisimmen - Montreux with the Golden Mountain Pullman Express, a luxury train modeled after the Orient Express.

Sehr schön wie Du die Golden Pass Railway darstellst. Ich wohnte 3 Jahre neben dem Bahnhof Chernex, welcher in der Commune de Montreux liegt. Dabei sah ich sehr oft die Züge anhalten und die verschiedensten Modelle, von Belle Epoque bis modernstem Glasdach-Zug anhalten und vorbei fahren. Es hat in mir alte Erinnerungen wach gerufen. Unter anderem auch die Momente an den Jazz Festivals und die grandiose Sicht auf den Lac Leman.
