Splintelands End of Season Reward

This Splinterland season 131 is over now, and this is the last season in which we have the season chest card as part of the reward. This is because we have got the change implemented in the game and from now onwards, we will be getting tokens as a reward that we can use in the reward shop to buy different stuff. This season has been amazing for me in terms of my progress because after the last season, we have got a change in the game in which the card penalty was removed and that worked pretty well as I ended the season with 75 chest cards. I think this is the highest in the last many months as far as I remember because usually, I used to score about fifty to sixty cards in any season. Now I have made it 75 this time which is very good and I'm very happy to have it.

EOS Reward

I am sharing the reward that I have received after the season ends, and I will also take you through the overall season reward that I have received through daily quest as well as the end-of-season reward. I think everyone is excited about the end-of-season reward that we are going to get but now this will not be happening anymore because we know that the number of tokens we get will be used in the shop to buy anything that we like, and the team will continue to add more stuff in the shop. I have played in wild format, and this is the highest league achieved in the last many months as you can see in the below snapshot which is like I played Champion League. It's been a long time since I played in the Champions League and I'm very happy that I did it finally even before the big change in the game but it's fun.

Here is the overall summary for the end-of-season reward. I have 3871 merits, but I did not get any SPS which is strange. I have many cards including one gold file and some portion, but I was expecting some good count of SPS tokens as part of the reward however it did not happen this time. The approx. dollar value for this season-end reward is almost sixteen dollars including everything I have received out of the 75 season chest cards.

Overall Season Reward

Here I'm sharing the overall season reward that includes the reward I have received through the end of the season as well as includes for daily quests. This reward is worth 46 US dollars and it has got SPS tokens merits and many cards which we usually receive. In terms of value, it is very good and sometimes even the daily cost reward can be way better than these end-of-season rewards however this will not be available anymore because the changes are already implemented in the reward mechanism.

I got a few gold foil cars but there is no legendary that I have received but its fine because the overall value is good.

Upgraded Doctor Blight

This week I burned some Gladius cards for Dec token and what a good amount of DEC. I've been tracking the price for Dr Blight's monster card for quite some time, and it is available at a cheap price, so I used the dec I earned to upgrade the existing card. Earlier I had a level 2 card and now I upgraded it to level 3 which is a good move.

This monster has got four abilities at level 3, and it is with 6 BCX hence for the next level I need to have 11 cards in total that will upgrade this monster to level four. I don't know when I'll be able to do this but that is also a plan I have in my mind and if there is an opportunity then I will not hesitate to do this. This card will be very powerful on level 4 because this will have five abilities and having this card is a must for any player in the game I am happy that I hold this card which is not just valuable but powerful as well.

Now since changes are already implemented in the game I'm going to track how is it going because it's all new for me. The interface is already refreshed with the changes, but I think it will take a couple of days for me to get familiar with the change in the reward mechanism and whatever options are available in the reward shop. I will continue to play in the wild format for now and in the next few weeks, I will see if there is a need for me to make a shift from the wild to the modern format. This switch is going to take some time for me because I need to have some cards from the latest edition then only, I can start playing in the modern because my current card collection is not good enough for modern.
