Splinterlands Season Ending today

The current season of Splinterlands game will be ending today and as of now, it's remaining for about 8 hours. This is the first season after the overhaul of the ranked battles and the changes are good. I like the change that has been implemented by the team and I have seen people sharing their good feedback about this change. I believe that changes are necessary from time to time and appreciate that the team keeps on doing it whenever they feel the need and still there are multiple changes that they are planning to do it soon.

I have gone through the town hall summary post published by splinterlands. It is very important to go through such posts if you have not joined the session because this helps us to understand what the team is planning to do and also get some clarity on the road map. Some points are worth discussing because these are some of the upcoming changes in the game. Before I do that, I would like to share my current progress in this season which has been pretty good if I do the comparison between the current and last couple of seasons.

This Season Progress

As you can see this season will be ending in approximately eight hours from NOW. I have unlocked 58 season chests and I think its a good count. Technically I am in the Diamond 2 league however this is just visible because we do not have any more leagues in the game and my current SPS holding is allowing me to avail the 10.7% reward boost. The higher multiplier is 12X on the reward, but I do not have Enough SPS to avail it however I plan to grow my sps holding so that I can avail of that.

This is overall progress for this season and I will see how the Next season is going to be and plan accordingly. Undoubtedly the changes are good in the game which has allowed to play more battles whereas penalties are removed from low-level cards. Now we do need not to advance to the next league as it happens automatically and maybe after some time the indication will also be removed and that will just be even easier but for now it is good to have to understand which league we are playing at.

Ranked Reward Changes

There are some changes planned for ranked battle rewards and as per the update they are going to implement these changes effective 2nd April. It's like we will have one season between and post that we will have changes implemented on the reward for the ranked battles.

Ranked reward changes scheduled to go live on April 2nd. Instead of just directly earning chests, you will earn reward points called Glint to be used in the new reward shop.

I am not sure how these rewards are going to be because it is something that needs to go through further and figure out how things will be posted the change but I am sure they will be announced sharing everything in detail. Now it is even more important to keep an eye on the upcoming updates from the splinterlands so that we know what changes are coming our way and how to plan things accordingly.

Bitcoin halving promo card

In the last Bitcoin halving, we had one promotional card in the game and now I was expecting the team will announce something like this I am happy to share that they have a plan in place. They have shared that the Bitcoin halving promo part will be going live on the 17th of April, and I hope this card is going to be valuable like the last one. The one we had last time is quite powerful and I'm happy to have it. No more details about this card have been shared so far but I hope soon we are going to have more updates and its like one month left for the event hence it is time for us to be ready and grab the most out of these upcoming promotional card events.

April 17th Bitcoin halving promo card event

There are multiple things planned and looks like the changes game is going to be even more exciting. The market is doing well however there is some drop today which is part of the market because we just can't expect everything to go up every time. Up and down is the nature of any market so when the price keeps on going upside then it is obvious that it will come down by a certain percentage so that it can go even higher however this drop is not a problem at ALL. It is the time when we can buy more and if you are following the DCA strategy then it is amazing because you don't need to be worried about as you are getting more Bitcoin or whatever point you are buying when the price drops.
