The Current Challenge of Web 3.0

Web 3.0 is the new face of internet and this is going to change the way we use internet. With this new face of internet we are going to get a decent lies internet where we will on the contents and there will be no involvement of such a companies like Facebook or Google. This web 3.0 is built on blockchain so any data that is shared on the blockchain will remain as it is and the owner will always have the control on the content.

The adoption for web 3 has been growing but I still believe that it has a long way to go because lot of people still not aware about it. Although this is good for us but there are certain challenges with web 3.0 and in this post I am going to share about it.

Accessibility & user experience

Web 3.0 is something that sounds good that users are going to own the content on blockchain and its immutable but this is not so easy learn and understand. Users are more faimilar with web 2.0 but here things are not same. People who are a bit technical or have the basic understanding are able to access it faster howevere this is still one of the biggest challenges for many to access the application on web 3. I know that things will improve over the period of time but the current situation is not so user friendly for many users.

We own the key for our wallet and a major chunk of people are not aware about the basic security steps. I think that the education is certainly needed but its not that easy because the audience is vast. If government supports then it can be easy else projects are going to suffer and this process will take long.

Poor UX and UI

As a user we expect a nice UI and fast loading applications but currently this part is missing here. Companies like Facebook and Google etc has created an interactive interfac and people are familar with this. With the new beginning and development of web 3.0 this might take a bit long to be at the same level. We need to understand that the development is fast here but still its not as good as it should be.

Lagging Application Development

Integration of applications is slow in web 3.0 as compared to web 2.0. This type of application and integration development takes time and since the adoption has alreayd started so many users don't find it worthy to stay. Application intergration is much faster in web 2.0 and even its easy for the users to access. There are many projects building the applications but the reality is that most of the apps are not stable such projects are struggling to have enough developers. We can expect that there will be more developers in this segment in coming years but th current situation is not good and it will take time to fill the gap.

Regulation

Web 3.0 is based on blockchain and cryptocurrency is way to reward creators. There are many countries where crypto regulation is not in place. Even in many countries the government has not cleared thier stans towards crypto and some are also explorind the ways to ban it. Beacuse of such unfavourable situation many users don't want to be part of this and this also affects new users onboarding.

Security

This is another major concern because there are many hackers who are steakling the money from wallets. Exchanges are hacked despite having a highly advanced security and in this scenario user funds are not safe. Its difficult to say that we are going to have a hack proof technology as its not practical. People dont want to loose their funds because of hackers and this is why many people maintain a distance to this space called web 3..

There are many challenges in web 3.0 but at the same time it brings a bunch of good things however I will be sharing that in another post. This challene is to discuss about the web 3.0 challenges and I have listed out some as per my knowledge and understanding. I know that there are many and this is such vast topic to discuss.
