5 Minute Freewrite: Tuesday Prompt: Spiderman.
A mansion is on fire
Goods worth millions are burning
Nobody dares to go in
Fire men are on their way
To rescue the much they can
The little spared by the raging fire
A little cat hangs at the balcony
Afraid to jump down
Afraid to run away
Afraid to dare the fire
All eyes are on it
Its owner counts it as lost
A courageous man appears;
An animal rights activist
Watches the cat with grief
Pure passion and desire to help
Made a leap unto the balcony
Spreads his arms and legs
Just like the spiderman
In a matter of seconds
He is up there
Dares the fire
Encouraged by the crowd
Cheers upon cheers
He gets to the frightened cat
In a matter of seconds
He starts to make his way downwards
With the cat with him
Like a spiderman
He builds a web
And brings the cat down
Safe and sound
To the applauds of all
All hail the spiderman!!! they cheer.
