My Actifit Report Card: July 2 2026
The World Cup drama continues as Portugal cruised into the round of 16 with a decisive (2-1) victory over Croatia at the Toronto Stadium. Substitute Goncalo Ramos who replaced João Cancelo scored a 94th-minute winner to send the Portuguese to last 16.
It was an eventful night for Croatia as they continued to pile pressure on Portugal having conceded a second goal and with the game edging to an agonizing end. Their pressure on Portugal paid off as Josko Gvardiol scored late in the game - what appeared to be a 103rd-minute equaliser. But after a lengthy VAR check, the goal was ruled out for offside. Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal then breathed à sigh of relief thereafter. They will now square up against Spain in the round off 16.

Elsewhere, Switzerland brushed aside Algeria (2-0) to advance to the round of 16. And with that victory, Switzerland won their first World Cuphh knockout game since 1938. They will now face Colombia or Ghana in lasth 16.
That's it for now. Thanks for reading up to this point. Until next time, I say, keep exercising.
