Hello everyone. Happy midweek. The much anticipated judgement by the Presidential Election Petition Court [PEPC] over the general election that saw Ahmed Bola Tinubu of Nigeria emerging as the president came up today with the tribunal upholding his election and dismissing the petitions of about three political parties against his emergence. Tension was high earlier today, so Larry had to observe the trend of things including monitoring the judgment which was televised live. Thereafter, Larry turns his attention to have a look at today in #history.

Larry begins his look at today in history from Africa. He finds out that on this day in 2019, Robert Gabriel Mugabe, a Zimbabwean politician who served as Prime Minister from 1980 to 1987 and President from 1987 to 2017 [resigned from office], died at the age of 95 in Singapore.

Still in Africa, Larry also finds out that on this day in 1966, then South African Prime Minister Hendrik Verwoerd [Hendrik Frensch Verwoerd], professor, editor, and statesman who vigorously designed and implemented apartheid policies, was stabbed to death by a temporary parliamentary messenger who was later judged to be insane in Cape Town, South Africa.

From Africa, Larry moves over to England. He finds out that on this day in 1997, a funeral was held for Princess Diana around a week after her death in a car accident, and an estimated 2.5 billion people watched the televised service, which included a performance by Elton John.

From England, Larry moves over to the Soviet Union. He finds out that on this day in 1991, The Soviet Union recognized the independence of the Baltic states—Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

From the Soviet Union, Larry moves over to Germany. He finds out that on this day in 1944, during World War II, Germany launched the first long-range V-2 rocket at an Allied target.

Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in history from Japan. He finds out that on this day in 1975, Tani Ryōko, née Tamura Ryōko, a Japanese judoka, who became the first woman to win two Olympic titles [2000: the 2000 Games in Sydney, Australia and at the and 2004: the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece) in judo was born in Fukuoka, Japan.

Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.

Let's now move over to the hunt for Larry...

Larry the postman as usual went about his duties delivering mails and am sure you know you can also get paid for just finding him. On my path, I hunted and found Larry in three places, that is, at Listnerds, Leadsleap and CTPX!

Listnerd

With my hunt at Listnerds I read over ten mails to complete the task. Here are some of the interesting ones I read:

Leadsleap

I hunted Larry in CTPX by xploring the number of sites to qualify for the draws and complete the task.
Here is a my proof of my xploration...
