Larry Is Alive #144 September 15, 2023: I Am Alive Challenge

Hello everyone. Welcome to friday, the 15th day of September 2023. It is the beginning of the weekend. Larry is indeed grateful for pulling through the week's activities despite hiccups here and there. And as he prepares to do the weekend deliveries, he first of all wants to know whata history has for us today as he turns his attention to have a look at today in #history.

Larry begins his look at today in history from Central America. He finds out that on this day in 1821, Central American notables accepted a proposal made by Mexican caudillo Agustín de Iturbide that granted Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua independence from Spain.

From Central America, moves over to England. He finds out that finds on this day in 1984, Prince Harry of Wales, the youngest son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales, was born in London.

From England, Larry moves over to the world 🌎 of boxing. He finds out that on this day in 1978, Muhammad Ali [whose original name wasCassius Marcellus Clay, Jr.], defeated Leon Spinks to win the world heavyweight boxing championship for the third time.

From the world of boxing, Larry moves over to Asia. He finds out that on this day in 1950, United Nations troops landed at Inch'ŏn, South Korea, and prevented a North Korean invasion during the Korean War.

From Asia and the Korean war, Larry moves over to Germany. He finds out that on this day in 1935, The Nürnberg Laws, created by Adolf Hitler, were among the earliest pieces of racist Nazi legislation that would lead to the Holocaust. They denied Jews German citizenship and outlawed marriage and other forms of sexual contact with "citizens of German or kindred blood." The Nürnberg Laws, two race-based measures depriving Jews of rights were approved by the Nazi Party at a convention in Nürnberg on this day in 1935.

From Germany, Larry moves over to Nigeria. He finds out that on this day in 1977, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, a Nigerian author whose second novel, Half of a Yellow Sun (2006), received international recognition for its account of the devastation occassioned by the Nigerian Civil War.

Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in history from the events of WWI. He finds out that on this day in 1916, The tank [which refers to any heavily armed and armoured combat vehicle that moves on two endless metal chains called tracks] was used for the first time in combat, by the British during World War I.

Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.

Let's now move over to the hunt for Larry...

Larry the postman as usual went about his duties delivering mails and am sure you know you can also get paid for just finding him. On my path, I hunted and found Larry in two places, that is, at Listnerds and CTPX!

I hunted Larry in CTPX by xploring the number of sites to qualify for the draws and complete the task.
Here is a my proof of my xploration...

You too can also join us at CTPX with my referral link https://ctpx.io/?ref=alovely088 and win in the various hourly drawing.
