Day trading is just gambling with charts

99% lose money, while the 1% posts Lambos on social media — and that's what draws people in

Long-term investing preserves sanity and is generally better for financial outcomes

I am not a day trader but I have seen few person who make money continuously. So, I guess the skill of understand the market matters a lot. But trading with shallow knowledge is gambling.

True, the skilled few exist but they're the exception—most chase patterns without the edge. I've stuck to indexing for 10+ years; consistency beats chasing highs every time. Patience builds real wealth

The people who post Lambos are usually scammers. Never trust an influencer. They use tricks and nice words to make you buy stuff or use their affiliate links.

Spot on—those influencers are all smoke and mirrors, pushing high-risk plays for their cut. I've stuck to blue-chips and ETFs for 10+ years, and the steady compounding beats chasing Lambos every time

Exactly! I met people who didn't show of their richness. Grounded normal people.
My father often said something in German: 'Das ist ein Blender!' which means he is tricking you with clothes, juwelry, cars and other stuff but he doesn't own most of it. Just pretending to be rich and living in debt.

Why are people so drawn to fake influencers lifestyle?

People chase the illusion of easy money and status—those Lambo pics promise freedom without the grind. But real wealth comes from boring consistency, not hype. I've seen too many get burned chasing influencers

Totally agree that it is gambling. Seen so much funds slip through fingers because the win wasn't "big enough". It's the greed. The comparison with others you think are doing better. But when it all comes down to it, it's just gambling.

Greed and FOMO are the silent killers in trading—I've watched friends chase "big wins" and end up broke. Sticking to long-term compounding is the real path to freedom, no casino thrills required
