Unexpected moments that are appreciated.

I invite you to visit the Canton Salon restaurant at the Paseo el Hatillo Shopping Center in the city of Caracas, on a totally unexpected visit.

My sons are already teenagers, they have plans and a life of their own and we make great efforts so that they will still be framed in family planning for as long as possible, them and our little girl are the center of our lives.

A few weekends ago, the three of them had a party very far from home, in El Hatillo, and when we were on our way to drop them off, we were hit by a downpour that any word I try to describe it would be insufficient or too exaggerated like when we say "flood".

We arrived very scared at the house of his friend where they would celebrate, we left them safe and sound, but we decided to take refuge and wait until the downpour passed a little.

The most convenient thing that occurred to us was to get into the parking lot of the Paseo el Hatillo Shopping Center and wait there for a while.

But we were already hungry and we decided to look for something to eat right there.

What I'm going to tell you is very sad because in El Hatillo there are dozens of delicious and varied restaurants where to eat, and being already in the town it was painful to have to settle for what is in the shopping center that is usually found everywhere.

But with that heavy rain we had no other choice but to stay sheltered inside the mall. I have to say responsibly that there was nothing worth it to me, it all seemed very diminished to me. I guess it doesn't make sense to create a great food fair of franchises in the mall of a town par excellence gastronomic.

I felt that same boredom again that I have felt before, that I feel that I am going to die of hunger, but I am not provoked by what I see.

When we went up to the top floor of the mall, my eyes lit up when I saw a beautiful Chinese food restaurant, and even better it was from the Canton Salon chain.

The photos that I bring you below are my impressions of this fabulous restaurant where they serve divine food, they have a sober and elegant service with meticulous attention.

Its oriental decoration is of a taste that is not found in any Chinese restaurant around there, the jade green color predominates with many details in wood.

It is a place where you can eat well, be excellently attended and give a level of exclusivity to the moment.

I have already known several establishments of this restaurant chain, the first one I knew was in Maracaibo when we lived there, and in Caracas I have visited three with this last one over many years and I am very happy that this business is so consolidated surviving all the adversities and maintaining and exceeding its quality.

So I can only recommend it to you, when you are looking for Chinese food, but good and you see a Canton Salon, dare to try it with all the confidence because it will not go wrong.

We ate a lot and we had to order food to go. So the next day the big kids also tried a little of what we ordered to enjoy with the little girl the night before.

The boys' party was very fun, so much so that they stayed until the next day. My husband, my daughter and I managed to get out of the Mall when we realized that the rain had passed and we spent that night alone the three of us at home.

I hope that life continues to surprise me with unexpected moments that I will infinitely appreciate, so I invite my life to all the chaos that is necessary if moments are going to occur that will take me out of the routine of every day.

Los invito a conocer el restaurante Salón Cantón del Centro Comercial Paseo el Hatillo de la ciudad de Caracas, en una visita totalmente inesperada.

Ya mis hijos varones son unos adolescentes, ellos tienen planes y vida propia y hacemos grandes esfuerzos porque todavía y por el mayor tiempo posible se mantengan enmarcados en la planificación familiar, ellos y nuestra pequeña son el centro de toda nuestra vida.

Hace algunos fines de semana los tres tenían una fiesta muy lejos de casa, en El Hatillo y cuando íbamos camino a dejarlos nos cayó una lluvia torrencial que cualquier palabra que busque para describirla sería insuficiente o demasiado exagerada como cuando decimos “diluvio”.

Llegamos muy asustados a la casa de su amigo dónde celebrarían, los dejamos sanos y salvos, pero decidimos buscar refugio y esperar hasta que pasará un poco el torrencial aguacero.

Lo más conveniente que se nos ocurrió fue meternos en el estacionamiento del Centro Comercial Paseo el Hatillo a esperar allí que pasará un poco.

Pero ya teníamos hambre y decidimos buscar allí mismo algo para cenar
Lo que voy a contarles es muy triste porque en El Hatillo existen decenas de restaurantes deliciosos y variados dónde comer, y estando ya en el pueblo era doloroso tener que conformarse con lo que hay en el centro comercial que por lo general se encuentra en todos lados.

Pero con esa lluvia tan fuerte no teníamos otra opción que quedarnos resguardados dentro del mall. Tengo que decir responsablemente que no había nada que valiera la pena para mí, me resultó todo muy disminuido. Me supongo que no tiene sentido crear una gran feria de comida de franquicias en el mall de un pueblo por excelencia gastronómico.

Me volvió a ocurrir ese mismo hastío que he sentido antes, que siento que me voy a morir de hambre, pero no me provoca lo que veo.

Cuando subimos al último piso del mall me brillaron los ojos cuando vi un restaurante de comida china de lo más precioso, y mejor aún era de la cadena Salón Cantón.

Las fotos que les traigo a continuación son mis impresiones de este fabuloso restaurante donde sirven una comida divina, tienen un servicio sobrio y elegante con atención esmerada.

Su decoración oriental es de un gusto que no se consigue en cualquier restaurante chino por allí, el color verde jade predomina con muchos detalles en madera.

Es un lugar donde se puede comer bien, ser atendidos excelentemente y ponerle un nivel de exclusividad al momento.

Ya he conocido varios establecimientos de esta cadena de restaurantes, el primero que conocí fue en Maracaibo cuando vivíamos allá, y en Caracas he visitado tres con este último a lo largo de muchos años y me alegra mucho que este negocio esté tan consolidado sobreviviendo a todas las adversidades y manteniendo y superando su calidad.

Así que no me queda más que recomendarles, cuando estén buscando comida china, pero buena y vean un Salón Cantón, atrévanse a probarlo con toda confianza porque no les va a quedar mal.

Nosotros comimos muchísimo y tuvimos que pedir empacar comida para llevar. Así que al otro día los chicos grandes también probaron un poco de lo que pedimos para disfrutar con la pequeña la noche anterior.

La fiesta de los muchachos estuvo muy divertida, tanto que se quedaron hasta el día siguiente. Mi esposo, mi hija y yo logramos salir del Mall cuando nos dimos cuenta de que pasó la lluvia y pasamos esa noche solo los tres en casa.

Espero que la vida me siga sorprendiendo con momentos inesperados que agradeceré infinitamente, así que invito a mi vida todo el caos que sea necesario si se van a desencadenar momentos que me lleven a salir de la rutina de cada día.
