Visiting Korea: My First Journey Through Imagination

Just sitting down alone I was thinking if I had the chance to visit Korea for the first time how it be like.
Korea is a country to me have always seen in movies, music and stories online, so in my head I already feel a kind of connection.

If I ever get the chance to land there, the first city I want to see is Seoul, I think that's the capital city. Everybody talks about Seoul like it is a city that never sleeps. Skyscrapers, lights, busy streets, and at the same time old palaces and temples hiding between them. The first place I would visit there is Gyeongbokgung Palace, imagine how look it was. I saw pictures of it online, with the guards in their traditional uniform, and honestly I feel it will make me understand the old history of Korea before all the modern things came.

But Korea is not only about cities. I also imagine myself traveling to Jeju Island. The beaches, waterfalls and mountains there look like a dream. Sometimes when life gotten in too stressful, I close my eyes and think about walking near Hallasan mountain, breathing fresh air and just forgetting my problems. All this place are beautiful and amazing places.

Another thing that makes Korea special for me is the food. Always imagine what the food will taste like In my country we eat spicy food, so I feel I will enjoy Korean meals like kimchi, bulgogi, or even simple street food like tteokbokki. I imagine sitting by the street corner, eating hot food while watching people walk fast to their jobs.

Why Korea first? Maybe because From K-dramas to K-pop, from the language I heard through subtitles, it is a place that feels far but also familiar.

So in my imagination, my first journey to Korea will be a mix of old palaces, city life, peaceful nature and tasty food. One day, I hope to stop imagining and actually walk there with my own two feet. When I fly there through Airplane it will a great memory for me, even I will do different video clips to always watch for remembrance.
