Rainy season my favourite season. LOH #292

Among all the seasons we have, I prefer the rainy season amongst other seasons and also happens be my favorite. In my country Nigerian, the rainy season comes with cool weather and refreshing air that helps to calm and reduce the heat from dry season. One of the reasons why I love this wet season the freshness and lovely atmosphere that it gives. The cool and gentle breeze that makes the weather cold. It gives me joy when am at home and it starts raining and I sleep very well when it raining. The green vegetation in the environment and the sound raindrops on the roof of the building makes me feel peacefully, lovely and which takes me to Dreamland.

The rain season it's also a good period for agriculture. Farmers use the opportunity to plant their crops and nurture them, among the crops are corn, vegetable, melon and yam. This rainy season is the perfect time where I do my planting, it's the best season where I travel to the village to farm and plant my crops and because of that foodstuffs are affordable and available which happens to be of help the country economy. The same time I also love the way there's abundant water in the reservoirs, streams and rivers which is available and essential for human existence and animals.

In as much as I love rainy season there's this aspect of it I don't it. I don't like being outside when it raining, when it rains I and walk in the flood, it gives me skin rashes and itching that last throughout the year. This affects my skin very badly. When there is heavy rain there is always floods in some streets. Like my in street when it rains heavily, everywhere will be covered with flood, which affects movement, it also sink vehicles and if don't have rainboot you will find it difficult to walk in the flood.

During this season, some people lost their home due to heavy floods and rain, farmlands are destroyed due to irrigation and it destroys the road and causes potholes. And because of the potholes and waterlogged on the road, transportation becomes expensive, there's also traffic and sometimes there is restrictions of movement for safety.

During the rainy season there's is increase in mosquito population because of stagnant water, the flood in the street and environment, mosquito breeds well during rainy season and it causes malaria and some diseases. During this period people needs to take precaution and protect themselves from mosquito inorder to live healthy. So which always make use of mosquito nets and repellant.

Despite the disadvantages of rainy season, I still prefer rainy season because it has a lot of good side than the bad side and it will still remain my favourite season because of cool weather, green vegetables and the good impact it has in agriculture. I feel refreshed, feels alive, and abundance of renewal from the beautiful nature during the rainy season.
