Making Railroad Rails From Steel T-Posts

avatar

Hello, hivers and do-it-your-selfers!

In this post, I'd like to show you how I made railroad rails for my 7-1/2 inch gauge garden railroad. I made this video back in the last week of October, but apparently I forgot to post it here on hive.

I wrote a series of posts about building my garden railroad, which you can find on my hive page. I made this video in response to questions about how I make my rails from steel fence posts. These steel fence posts have a T shaped cross section, and that makes them look a bit like a railroad rail. The video explains how I prepared the posts to be rails for my garden railroad. This video is only 4 minutes long.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my video! I hope you found it interesting!
