HIS ANGEL

It have been a tradition in my work place to host a thanksgiving party after first saturday of every month. There is always heartwarming praises to God and also you get to eat to your stomach hurts.

In this September thanksgiving, i didn't eat my food for whatever reason that I didn't know about. I just ate the small chops and took the soft drink while I put the food and water inside my bag to take home.

On my way home, this youngman who was walking along the road just collapsed. Beside him was an empty inhaler so it was obvious that he is asthmatic.

He struggled to breath but it was difficult and there was no hospital or pharmacy shop nearby. The situation was beyond people who were gathered there for most are peasants and uneducated.

The youngman stopped breathing

Out of no way, an older man arrived with a new inhaler and started administering CPR to him. He didn't give up even if he wasn't responding.

Then he coughed and opened his eyes and said...

I am hungry

I was the only one with food and water there, so I gladly handled them to him and he ate.

As he was eating the food I looked around for the old man that administrated CPR on him but he was no where to be found.

Then I know that he was his ANGEL sent to save him. For without him, that youngman would have died.

l have been hearing about Angels since my childhood from Sunday schools where we were taught a lot about the bible, to the many movies and books available to watch.
From all these i was able to carve out my own imagination of what an angel look like.

They are highly Spiritual and God created them a little higher than man. Beautiful and obedient to God, the rebellious ones were thrown down thousands of years ago. Ofcourse they have strong wings, a mighty sword and clad in white.

But after that day I have a different view about how angels really look.

I think Angels lives among us, walking alongside us and interacting with us without us knowing.

Remember when Abraham entertained some guests in his house not knowing that they were angels.

I have come to realise that Angels look like us.

And most times when someone does something extraordinary for us we will liken that person to be an angel.

Thank you so much, you are such an Angel

I was also used by God that day to feed this youngman. It was after that incident that i understood why I didn't feel like eating my food during the thanksgiving.
