A Walk To The 3C HUB.

It's another beautiful Wednesday to get out and get a walk and possibly take some shots of the things around.

My friend had always some issues with her phone about last month when she got robbed, so she wanted to get an idea of the current price of her dream phone and so she persuaded me to accompany her to the hub, it's called the 3c HUB.

Before we got to the hub, we passed a marketplace where they sell food stuff like tomatoes, fish and other edible items and I was busy taking shots of whatever I could.

Then we finally got to the Hub where there are different brands of phones, like Tecno, Infinix, Itel, Redmi and other brands.

She wanted to get an Infinix phone so that was the first stand we went to.

The lady on that stand was so ill-mannered that my friend immediately changed her mind to try another brand of phone, like the Tecno.

IMG_20231110_153329_478.jpg

This Lady here is the opposite of the other rude lady, so cheerful, kind and patient, she took her time to explain kindly to my friend about the various specifications of Tecno phones on her stand and she wore a smile all through.

I asked for her permission to take a shot of her and the stand which she agreed to.

The phones on her stand are quite expensive but she talked about another way of purchasing the line which is the Easy buy, You pay a certain amount for the phone and pay the rest with interest every month until it's completed.

My friend didn't want an Easy Buy, she wanted to buy immediately but the amount she had wasn't enough as there was a hike in price.

At the other part of the hub, there's the Oriamo brand, you find airpod, earpieces, wristwatches, power banks or anything about the Oriamo brand.

So I thought of purchasing a power bank from them since the power supply in my area is not stable.

IMG_20230815_153204.jpg

This power bank is a very strong kind as many people. have recommended it to me.
It's a 27,000 mAh, power bank and I think it's perfect for me since I still have another one with 20,000 mAh.

When we were done with the Hub, I decided to visit a hair store not so far from the Hub.

IMG_20230904_153837_732.jpg

It was a great deal to pick the hair of my choice as there was a lot to choose from.

If I had my way, I would have gotten more than one, but the hair I ended up buying was a result of impulse buying so I didn't buy more than one.

IMG_20230904_152256_878.jpg

I eventually bought this one after trying a lot, this was so good for me.

IMG_20230904_153925_534.jpg

On our way back, we stumbled on fine footwear, we just did window shopping without buying any since we didn't plan on getting so many things.

We might be visiting this market again very soon when we are ready to buy a lot of things.

IMG_20230904_151109_699.jpg

And that's our way home, we boarded a bus and headed home.

It was fun window shopping, maybe because I took a few shots along and I hoped my friend would get enough money to buy the phone of her dreams as soon as possible.

I haven’t heard of this easy buy option before. I’m not sure whether it’s just not a thing in Ghana or if I’n the only one that hasn’t heard of it yet. I’ve seen apple offer a similar type of payment though for some of their phones where you pay in bits until you’re done.

I wonder though…do they give you the phone to use as you make the payments? If so, what’s to guarantee you won’t runaway with it?

Reading this post honestly helped me appreciate how similar things here and in Nigeria are. Some of the places almost looked familiar and if I didn’t already know that wasn’t Ghana, I’d just assume it was.

You'll be asked for certain vital information, like your account number and Bank Verification Number, home address and a few contacts on your phone.

They'll also have your phone tracking number, so there is no way the buyer can run away with the phone hehe.

I'd love to visit Ghana soon. Thanks for visiting.

What a shame to know that your friend's mobile device has been stolen, dear friend @amiegeoffrey and the worst thing was that she was poorly attended to at the first telephone stand, luckily at the other stand she was attended to properly.
I loved this walk through these care centers, I appreciate that you shared this walking experience
have a great day
