Chased By A Goat.

I've only met a pigeon once in my life, and I never cease to wonder at the way it talks back at someone when it's not close to the class of mammals (humans). How does it do that? It's obvious that animals hear us, but they just decided to be low-key and are probably waiting for a day to strike back.

I have a dog currently, and... This dog hears!

So, assuming every animal we meet and get insulted by decides to strike back on the spot, would you survive it?
The mother hen with her chicks doesn't just come attacking because we are walking close; no, it comes via our physical actions and what we are spilling out.

Have you ever been chased by Turkey before? I was chased by it once only because I wore a red dress to its territory, and ever since then I've been too careful while being around some animals.

I had this encounter recently. I was coming back from a friend's place some days ago, and while on the street that looked scanty of people, I saw two children (girls of 10 to 14 years) spilling out loud, referring to two goats standing at a side looking at them.
"It's that one that's more beautiful."
"No, it's that one."

Guess which one of them was likened to Oshomole

They were saying and pointing their fingers toward the direction of the goats while the goats were standing, chewing their cud, and looking at them.
At this juncture, I was slow-walking and decided to take a pause and capture the event because it was fun.

"No ooo! Can't you see that one? That one looks like Oshomole."Immediately after one of them said this, one of the goats angered up and speedily rushed them and chased them off like the way dogs do. I was really surprised at the goats' reaction, because how does the goat know that "oshomole" is a nickname for someone or something really ugly?

On the other hand, I was laughing hard because how could a young girl at that age liken a goat to Oshomole or Oshomole to a goat? That was harsh, and the goat heard it right; that's why he got angry and decided to chase them off.

The girl ran like a Usain bolt, leaving her slippers behind. I'm sure she would be wondering why she had to run for a common goat after the chase, and then the goat stood in the middle of the street like a bodyguard, giving the "You come to my territory and insult me again; I'll deal with you" kind of expression.

Then I realized that no one loves to be insulted, not even the goats. Speak kindly to these little cute things, and if you can't say anything nice, it's best to just keep quiet and mind your business.

Was I minding my business? Well, I don't think so because I was hyping the goat for doing the needful, you need to see me cheering the goat while it chased the girl. Well, he did the right thing, so I had to congratulate his bravery before leaving for home. Phew, thank God I took at least a shot of the superhero goat that chased a girl for calling him Oshomole.

Lol...this is funny though but I wonder how the goat knows who Oshomole is to understand it was an insult.

Hahahaha, so funny. Don't let the man hear you o. And really, sometimes I wonder if these animals hear us. I get scared of goats because I know people take them for sacrifice. I don't know the one that has been marked for sacrifice but escaped. Hahaha.
