It started with me seeing myself behind the microphone of my favorite radio station, I was anchoring the show titled "Let the burden off your chest", .." Yes, yes, yaw, it's your girl, Amie, holding it down on 96.9 Cool fm, your number one hit music station, I bring you the show, you bring in your thoughts, what burden do you want to let off your chest? the number to call is 0123190969, oh oh, the phone lines are buzzing already", I was an On-Air Personality, and I was making a difference and mending souls with my great show.

That day I wore Jean trousers and a Tee, wearing very light make-up, I drove my "pocket-sized car", you heard me right, I love my life simple but cozy so I chose a car that fits this description and then I drove right out of the studio after I had a great show and headed to see a housing Estate Agent after I had worked with Cool fm for over 5years.

I wanted to get a very big space for my fashion house, you see right from childhood all I've ever wanted to be is an On-Air Personality and a Fashion Designer, I didn't know I would combine but somehow I found a way, so I worked with Cool fm (favorite radio station) for a while and then decided to own my fashion house.

This building was situated in a very busy area, you know by now, I had made great connections, I now hang out with celebrities and most of them came to grace my show back in the day, I had fans too, (those who loved my show followed me everywhere on the social media handles) and I had beautiful colleagues who were all ready to be styled by me and friends of course.

After purchasing the space, I furnished this building I had built, The exterior was painted in Gold and a touch of bright colors, honestly, the building was glamorous, adorned in beauty the interior was so beautiful, it was painted in white and the interior decorator knew his onions, I must confess, he decorated it so well that everyone who visited that building complimented his job, I had my personal space in the building with my brand's name engraved on the walls, I had workshops where I produced my clothing, I had a showroom where I showcased outfits for sales and where the models I hired did their job, I also had a space for tutoring students who wanted to learn fashion designing, the class was well equipped with all the fashion instruments that could enhance the fashion job and finally I had a reception where complaints and any other issues were attended to.

The day came to launch the fashion house I decided to call a few of my friends to invite them over for the launch, Dimzee was a whole vibe " Amieee, my girl!!! I'm so coming for the big party, what's the dress code?", she excitedly asked me and I was like "Beauty and class, just look good girl, we just wanna have some fun!" And then ended the call.

I made sure I had slots for a few of my fans to join the party, so it was I, my family, a few friends, colleagues, and the few celebrities I had created bonds with that graced the occasion.

Now as a C.E.O of a very big fashion industry, I was in my personal space flipping through the most popular magazine in town when I saw a caption that caught my attention Amie Couture Empire doing well for herself, and then I saw some of my fashion clothing displayed in the magazine and how I got a lot of positive reviews.

I had appointments in and out of the country, working with other fashion industries and signing big fashion deals, I was on a flight to the Bahamas for vacation when I met him... we exchanged contact and from that moment, we became besties let's say the chemistry was so strong, in time we got married and I had two beautiful children, a girl, and a boy, my kids were so adorable. I had a lovely and peaceful family, however, Mom wasn't left out too, as we sent lots of money to her and my kids went to spend their summer with her.

I was having a nice time with my husband when someone gave me a heavy tap on my shoulder. "Go make me Eba, I am hungry,", then I came back to reality.

Phew, I have been sitting on that couch for the past hour of daydreaming, I chuckled and checked my phone, "oh! I wanted to write for the inkwell community before I went into a trance," well I stood up and went straight into the kitchen to make food for my mom, hoping these beautiful dreams come to reality.
