RE: Why does evil exist?

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

If the problem of evil were something strictly biological, perhaps at some point an antidote could be found.

To do evil is so extensive and natural that to eradicate it, the only solution would be to erase the human being, to exterminate him definitively from the earth.

For me, good and evil is an eternal balance. To maintain the balance of things, the sum of the intervening forces is zero. Roman law, as well as the canons of the church, were implemented precisely to tame the human being; without guidelines, can you imagine the chaos in which we would live?

I have always wondered why man loves war. In the past for honour and glory, but today? The control of our instinct is possible through drugs; just as alcohol makes some people aggressive, I also know those who make them passive. An interesting film that shows the control of human nature is EQUILIBRIUM (2002), I recommend it; perhaps in it you will find an answer to the control of the Venezuelan people by the State.

I practice my motto, live and let live; …, live in peace. Again, a hug full of blessings.

I also believe that the religious message centered on love for others has greatly facilitated human coexistence. Thank you very much for stopping by and commenting dear @amigoponc . A big hug from Maracay.
