In these times of pandemic, the face mask has become for all of us one of the indispensable accessories that we should not stop using, we must protect ourselves and others.

Currently in the market there are novel designs of masks with very beautiful fabrics that we ladies love in addition to that, at this time it is fashionable to wear a decorative chain that serves to hold and even more to embellish with a decorative accessory and very fashionable.

For that reason I bring you this novel and wonderful idea ❤️

As every little lady, we must always look beautiful with our mouth cover and a flirty and very creative accessory crocheted, so that when you have to take it off you don't put it anywhere but leave it hanging on your neck.

Well yesii I thought it was a good idea to make this handmade accessory and the best with lots of love and dedication ❤️❤️.

Let's start with our project

Materials

❤️ Baking needle and thread.

Step by step.

We will make our heart as follows.

To demonstrate how to make the heart, I show you the example with a worsted yarn that is much thicker than the yarn I am using for my project, so that you can appreciate and understand each step.

1❤️~ I start by making a slip knot.
To make it I take the thread of the long part and pass it over the index finger forming a ring and on this we introduce the long thread and pull it then we make pressure to both threads to adjust it to the measure and ready, this knot will be our central ring to make our heart.

2❤️~ now with our knot ready we start making the hearts for this project I am going to make 8 mini hearts the first thing we are going to do are 3 chain stitches we follow with 3 double high stitches that we are going to link to our central ring which is the slip knot.

3❤️~Then we make 3 normal high stitches a chain in the air and a double high stitch , here we carry half of our heart.

4❤️~next we make our other half doing the same thing only this time we continue our knitting with a chain in the air,3 normal high stitches then 3 double high stitches and to finish the heart we make 3 chain stitches and close with a slip stitch in the center ring so we finish we cut the yarn with which we knit everything and adjust our heart by pulling both yarns and making a knot, the excess thread we cut or weave it into the fabric, I prefer to camouflage it in the same fabric so as not to run the risk of it coming loose.

This is how we made our heart, now I show you how my mini hearts look like with the yarn I am working on for my project.

Now if we go to the next step which is to make our chain stitch quite long, I made it 300 stitches long, remembering that it goes over the neck.

5❤️~Now that my 8 mini hearts are ready, I will bake them and place 4 on each side, keeping a gap between them and the remaining ones look like this.

6❤️~Now it's the brooches' turn to be attached to the end of each end of the chain stitch to almost finish my project.
