¡Saludos estimados Hiveans! Después de un largo rato de no reportarnos por acá finalmente estamos de regreso para compartirles nuestra ultima salida. En esta ocasión decidimos visitar nuestra… alma mater 🤭en la lejana zona del Ajusco, por el sur de la ciudad. En donde se puede encontrar ¡la universidad más grande de Latinoamérica! Se trata de la UNAM, la cual también es una de las más antigua de toda América ya que fue fundada desde la época de las colonias Europas.
Y este es el “campus” más grande de esta universidad, que como su nombre lo sugiere, este presente en todo el país, e inclusive tiene otros centros educativos fuera del país.
Greetings dear Hiveans! After a long time of not reporting here we are finally back to share with you our last outing. This time we decided to visit our... alma mater 🤭in the distant area of Ajusco, in the south of the city. Where you can find the biggest university in Latin America! It is the UNAM, which is also one of the oldest in all of America, having been founded since the time of the European colonies.
And this is the largest "campus" of this university, which as its name suggests, is present throughout the country, and even has other educational centers outside the country.
Ambos estudiamos en la UNAM, pero no las facultades que se pueden encontrar en la Ciudad Universitaria (CU) sí no en otras que están distribuidas a lo largo de la ciudad, más cercano a la zona en donde radicamos.
Sin embargo, esta semana decidimos visitar el reciente Pabellón Nacional de la Biodiversidad, el cual fue inaugurado hace solo unos pocos meses atrás y es el resultado de la colaboración una enorme empresa privada con la Universidad, que se encarga de traerle a la población en general muchísima información y demostraciones sobre la rica biodiversidad que se puede encontrar en el país. En su página oficial se puede encontrar esta descripción: "Conocerás la riqueza de especies mexicanas, su origen, la relación entre las especies, su entorno y su evolución. Además del papel que las biólogas y los biólogos tienen en el estudio de la biodiversidad, y del compromiso que tenemos todos por conocerla, conservarla y hacer un uso responsable y sostenible. El PaBio, como recinto único en su tipo a nivel nacional, difunde el patrimonio natural de las Colecciones Biológicas a cargo del Instituto de Biología."
La entrada es gratuita y esta abierto la mayoría de los días de la semana.
Así mismo, aprovechamos esta oportunidad para recoger y finalizar algunos tramites que @fclore tenía pendiente, Cómo recoger su certificado de estudios del Bachillerato.

Aquí tienen unas fotos de como luce la estación universidad, la cual esta bellamente decorada con motivos Universitarios y de su impacto en la sociedad. 🎓
We both studied at the UNAM, but not the faculties that can be found in the University City (CU) but in others that are distributed throughout the city, closer to the area where we live.

Admission is free and it is open most days of the week.
We also took this opportunity to pick up and finalize some paperwork that @fclore had pending, such as picking up his high school diploma.

Nosotras íbamos a tomar uno de ellos para bajar cerca del pabellón, pero para nuestra mala suerte ya se estaba tardando mucho y sólo quedaban 2 horas para que cerrarán el lugar, así que decidimos apurarnos y tomamos un taxi para llegar rápida y directamente al Pabellón.
Finalmente llegamos, y esta es la apariencia de su fachada principal. Aunque debemos decir que toda la arquitectura presente en el lugar es de lo más moderno y hermoso que hemos visto en nuestros viajes.
Así se ve su recibidor, cuentan con varios esqueletos de cetáceos, y muchos otros como verán a lo largo del blog. 🤩
We were going to take one of them to get off near the pavilion, but to our bad luck it was already taking a long time and there were only 2 hours left for the place to close, so we decided to hurry and took a cab to get quickly and directly to the Pavilion.
Finally we arrived, and this is the appearance of its main facade. Although we must say that all the architecture present in the place is one of the most modern and beautiful we have seen in our travels.
This is what their foyer looks like, they have several skeletons of cetaceans, and many others as you will see throughout the blog. 🤩
Finalmente salimos del lugar con destino a recoger el certificado de @fclore22, y nos encontramos con algunos obstáculos de por medio, ya que comenzó una fuerte lluvia y aunque pagamos otro taxi para llegar al lugar, no era el correcto y aún teníamos que caminar más. 😩
Entonces, @flcore22 se embarcó en la misión de caminar en medio de la lluvia para allá, y por suerte alcanzó a llegar en pocos minutos antes de que cerraran el servicio, así que por fin tiene su certificado, después de 3 años sin poder terminar de tramitarlo a causa de la pandemia 😮💨
Tambien aprovechamos para traerles estas fotos que tomamos, en una se aprecía la mítica biblioteca central de la UNAM, mientras que en la siguiente es la vista de la plancha que esta al centro de muchas facultades de la Universidad.
Finally we left the place with destination to pick up @fclore22's certificate, and we encountered some obstacles in between, as a heavy rain started and although we paid another cab to get to the place, it wasn't the right one and we still had to walk more. 😩
So, @flcore22 embarked on the mission to walk in the middle of the rain to there, and luckily he managed to get there in a few minutes before they closed the service, so he finally has his certificate, after 3 years without being able to finish processing it because of the pandemic 😮💨
We also take this opportunity to bring you these pictures we took, in one of them you can see the mythical central library of the UNAM, while in the next one is the view of the plancha that is at the center of many faculties of the University.
