Traveling to another island in the Philippines

Read this post on TravelFeed.io for the best experience

It was time to move on and leave the bits of skin where they were, on the road. and make like a bird and fly away to another part of the beautiful country of the Philippines to the island of Coron

A boat ride was necessary to get to the island with the airport. We did just that. Taking time to watch the scenery go by was a nice treat to take in the views. Here are some pictures of the trip.

In the town of Coron we wandered the town proper to find a place to stay. I let my friend sit with the bags as i asked around for accommodations. She was still in pain and too ripped up to walk long distances so I did the leg work.

A food stall along the way.
A food stall along the way.

How fascinating that the stilts hold up such a large part of the town right over the water.

after finding the place we would stay for some time I decided to hire a jeepneey to take the bags and my friend to the hotel.

The sun was starting to set and some food was necessary after the day of travel. Here is what we found to snack on.

The night ended fast and was slept till the day break song of the sun coming up for all to see.

The day break view from the hotel room.

It was time to wander around town and figure out what we would do here for the time we had. Lets take a look at the sights of town.

I am fascinated by the jeepnees that roar around town.

Despite being all tore up we decide to do some scuba diving in the days ahead. the water might make the pain go away and the low impact activity would help get our minds off the hurt that persists.

Here are some of the dives of the world war 2 ships we will go through.

Perhaps in a day or two we will book the trips out to sea, to see the ships as they lay ther on the ocean floor waiting for us to explore.

The rest of the day is spent relaxing and resting, having some food and watching the town and the happenings of what goes around.

There is more to come and more places to see stick around and fallow along for more travel blogs to come.
