The Dog on the Road

avatar

Recently, I purchased a wonderful Nikon camera and have been educating myself on how to use it. It isn’t difficult to get great photos with the camera, but it is taking time to understand settings.

Yesterday, I took the memory card out and set it down somewhere before going out. Do you think I can remember where that card is? Hell no.

So this morning I had to use my cell phone just as always. The funny thing is that since I’m unfamiliar with them Nikon settings, I take better photos with my mobile.

I got a number of amazing shots this morning, while one especially struck me. I was going to share the different photos but couldn’t shift attention from this one.

Playing around in post production, I and ended up with many happy results.

Here’s the photo and touched up images of a dog and his person standing in the middle of the road at 5:45am.

Let me start by saying that the best camera for anything is the one you have readily available to you at that moment.
