Current Reward Pool and Liquidity Pool Statistics

Hello again. From time to time, I share statistics about Cent. My purpose in these posts is to provide data to the Cent Community, curators and investors so they can make a prediction. I made the previous post about three months ago

We have reached 282 users on our community page. The number of active members is 226 people. There is a noticeable increase in the number of content sharing. In the next period, we will start competitions and events. We are starting to work on increasing the activity in the community from this day forward.

The prize pool generates 3 tokens per minute. Until the beginning of August, this number was 5. The curators have noticed the drop in the votes cast over the past few days. Cent Token price is far from the targeted value. We continue to make changes to the prize pool and liquidity pools to achieve the targeted value.

The number of coins produced is approximately 12,949,000. 9,650,000 of the produced tokens were burned. There are about 3,300,000 tokens in circulation. Of these, about 1,575,000 have been staked. About 1,500,000 coins are in liquidity pools. The rest is in liquid form in wallets.

In the Hive/Cent market, a transaction volume of $203 was realized in the last 24 hours. Current buy order: $0.00472. Current sell order: $0.00617. In the last 24 hours, the transaction volume of the Hive/CentG market was $48. Current buy order: $1.77. Current sell order: $4.7.

As for the liquidity pools;

  • There is $7,939 worth of liquidity in the Hive/Cent pool. In the last 24 hours, $1355 worth of trading volume has been realized. The current APR rate in the pool is 62%.
  • There is $1000 worth of liquidity in the HBD/Cent pool. In the last 24 hours, $110 worth of trading volume has been realized. The current APR rate is 51%.
  • There is $883 worth of liquidity in the Cent/Leo pool. In the last 24 hours, 87$ worth of trading volume has been realized. The current APR rate in the pool is 61%.
  • There is $546 worth of liquidity in the Cent/Pob pool. In the last 24 hours, 31$ worth of trading volume has been realized. The current APR rate is 97%.
  • There is $2743 worth of liquidity in the Cent/CentG pool. In the last 24 hours, 637$ worth of trading volume has been realized. The current APR rate in the pool is 138%.


All liquidity pools have a +1% LP reward for those who provide liquidity for 30 days or more. In addition, the Hive/Cent pool distributes 100 cents per hour to the 20 liquidity providers that provide the most liquidity. This is a pretty good solution for short duration LPs.

It is a pity that it does not manage to maintain the price but the liquidity pools are interesting.

Liquidity pools have a great contribution to liquidity and price balance. However, as we have experienced, they are effective in the price decrease in sudden bear seasons. More people are considering providing liquidity rather than staking tokens. In any case, they will greatly benefit the project in the long run.

Definitely noticed the drop off in curation rewards. Probably for the best though.

Interesting CENTG trading lately too.

Is the 100 CENT per hour split between the top 20 or is it 100 to each?

Yes. We will continue to reduce the token supply for a while. CentG is the management token of the Cent project. Its usage area will increase as time goes on. Some people must have noticed this ;) 100 cent are distributed per hour. It is divided according to the liquidity weight among the 20 people who provide the most liquidity.

Im certainly eyeing up to get involved in CENT.

This reward distribution period ends after approximately forty days. The next period will be better for Cent. We are considering a strategy change in the LP awards.

I have no concern about the temporary depeg of the token. I think CENT is accepted as a stablecoin by the whole community. It matters a lot!

Thank you. It works fine except for the peg. I think that reaching the targeted value will happen soon. The reward distribution period in liquidity pools was adjusted annually. It ends in about forty days.

Once I am done with my staking goal, that's the time I will look into LP.

Thanks for the piece of information.
I'm still focused in staking more cent now to meet a particular target, hope the curation will be fixed in no distant time.
