Costa Marina (Part 1)
It was time to head back to Costa.
The last time I went to Costa Marina was way back in 2021 where my body was still hot af. LOL. (well my tummy was smaller back then and minimal flabs were visible. Now I'm just a witol walking ham. Sigh.)
I was with my Marketing classmates at that time, including one of their boyfriend (as our photographer. HAHA). But it has been two years, and this time, I get the chance to go back there again but now with my highschool classmates.
And yes, @hiddenblade is here.
But first off...
What and Where is Costa Marina?
Costa Marina is located in Brgy. Caliclic, Babak District at the Island Garden City of Samal in Davao del Norte, Philippines. It is one of the nearest beach resorts from Davao City where it offers white-sand beach, luxurious room accommodations and a breath-taking view of the beach itself with an equal amazingly crystal clear blue waters.
A must have trait we all want when wanting to go to the beach. Right?
They offer Day Tour and Overnight accommodations. Below are their rates:
(all sources are found on Costa Marina's Official Website.)
Day Tour
Overnight Rates
Single
Hotel Type
Dormitory
Duplex Type
Villa Type
Unfortunately, we weren't able to avail the overnight rates since it was out of our budget, (mostly mine. lol) and one of our friend still has a job to go to after. And so we decided to only avail the Day Tour.
Inclusions of the Day Tour were not that much of an awesome thing. Aside from having a table and chair, that was it.
They also have strict rules that clients need to follow, such as:
Well moving on...
Here are our shots for the day.
Onto Samal Island
Costa Marina has their own boat ride terminal. They have the same terminal with Paradise Island Park & Beach Resort since Costa is just one lot away from Paradise.
We were missing one friend here. Instead of us waiting her late ass to get to the terminal, we went along ahead first.
Staff who were incharge of the boat told us to wear our life jackets. Safety comes first!
This was when we were already travelling to the resort.
Touchdown Costa Marina!
The travel from the Terminal to Samal Island wasn't that far. More or less it took only 10 minutes I think?
This was the entrance and the docking area of Costa Marina.
A couple went ahead of us. They were also the ones who sat infront of us on the boat ride. (As seen on the previous pictures above)
awww..sweet ass motherfckrs
As we crossed the short stone bridge to the main resort, we saw a school of fish! (but we didn't knew what species they were though. Sad life.)
And here are the two sweet ass motherfckers again.
But of course we haaaaave to have an obligatory selfie first 🤣
And my own obligatory selfie's as well.
We have arrived at their welcome sign and decided to take a picture as well!
(stolen shot for @hiddenblade) 🤣
Remember the sweet ass motherfcking couples? Yep, they were the ones who took this picture of us. Well, technically it was the girl. She voluntarily offered to take our picture IN EXCHANGE of us (me) taking their picture as a couple as well. Cunning beech.
