The Cake - the cutest coffee shop/The Cake - наймиліша кав'ярня (EN/UA)

It's been a long time since I've been in the cosiest Hive community. It's time to make up for it)

Today I want to share with you a part of my post-work holiday.
Since I'm constantly working and simultaneously studying and doing research, I don't have enough time and energy to go to coffee shops. Even though I love this business very much. The other day, I realised that it had been too long since I had gone somewhere farther away from work and home, even though I live in the capital.

So I decided to take more walks and relax in cosy cafes.
Yesterday I was lucky because I could leave work early, and by a happy coincidence, so could my boyfriend.
I already knew a coffee shop that would be great to go to, and it was close to our work. Half an hour later, we were already at The Cake. That's the name of the cafe.
At the entrance, we were greeted by this aesthetic banner in pink colours.

In short, I can easily be lured in by aesthetic signs and all sorts of cool things.
However, the main feature of the coffee shop is the installation - a copy of a famous art object.

Jeff Koontz's inflatable dog is the main feature of the place. And what's also very cool is that there are tables around it where you can sit and have coffee and dessert.

I am delighted that it is pink! And they put a pink, fluffy collar on the dog. It's great, we were looking at this dog the whole time we were drinking coffee.
But now let's move on to the coffee and desserts.

The selection in the café is quite large, but at that moment we didn't feel like drinking coffee, because I have a coffee machine at work and I drank too much of it. So we thought we'd have lemonades, even though it was not quite the season.

I really wanted to have their signature dessert "pear" with the drink, because it looks like a real pear! But unfortunately, it was out of stock at the time. In general, we were not very lucky that day, because many items on the menu were not available.

I opted for the cranberry cheesecake. At first, I was a little upset that they brought me such a small piece, as you can see in the photo. However, it was heavy and very nutritious, because I was full of it.
Also, the presentation of ordinary wet napkins is very cool here, just look at these interesting wrappers:

The styling of the washroom in this coffee shop is also top notch, just look at these fluffy mirror frames

Overall, I really liked this coffee shop. It's extremely nice and well thought out. However, the menu here is rather trivial, although it was quite tasty.
It's probably not a place I want to go to all the time, but I definitely plan to visit again.

Давно я не зʼявлялась у найзатишнішій спільноті Hive. Пора виправляти це)

Сьогодні хочу поділитися з вами частинкою свого після робочого відпочинку.

Так як я постійно працюю і паралельно навчаюсь і займаюся науковою діяльністю, то часу і сил ходити у кавʼярні просто не вистачає. Хоча я дуже сильно люблю цю справу. На днях я усвідомила, що аж занадто давно вибиралась кудись далі роботи і дому, хоч і живу у столиці.
Тому було прийняте рішення частіше влаштовувати собі прогулянки та відпочинок у затишних кафешках.

Учора мені пощастило, адже я могла піти з роботи раніше, і за щасливим збігом обставин мій хлопець теж.
Я уже знала кавʼярню у яку чудово було би сходити, і вона знаходилась поруч із нашою роботою. Через пів години ми вже були в The Cake. Так називається це кафе.

При вході в заклад нас зустрів такий естетичний банер у рожевих тонах.
Словом, мене легко можна заманити естетичними вивісками та всілякими прикольними штуками.
Проте головною фішкою кав'ярні є інсталяція - копія відомого арт-об'єкту.

Надувна собачка Джеффа Кунца - головна фішка закладу. І що теж дуже круто - так це те, що навколо неї стоять столики, де можна посидіти і випити каву із десертом.

Я в захваті від того, що вона рожева! Так ще й на песика одягли рожевий, пухнастий нашийний. Це супер, ми весь час поки пили каву дивилися на цього собаку.

Але тепер перейдемо до самої кави та десертів.
Вибір у кафе доволі таки великий, але на той момент нам не хотілося пити каву, адже на роботі в мене стоїться кавова машина, і я напилася її забагато. Тому ми так подумали, і взяли лимонади, хоч і не зовсім сезон.
До напою я дуже хотіла взяти їх фірмовий десерт "груша", адже він виглядає як реальна груша! Та, на жаль, тоді його не було в наявності. Загалом, у той день нам не дуже пощастило, адже багато позицій із меню були відсутні.

Свій вибір я зупинила на чізкейку із журавлиною. Спочатку я було трішки засмучена, що мені принесли такий маленький шматочок, як ви можете спостерігати на світлині. Проте, він був важким і дуже поживним, адже я ним наїлася.
Також тут дуже класна подача звичайних вологих серветок, просто гляньте на ці цікаві обгортки:

Стилізація вбиральні у цій кав'ярні також на висоті, лишень погляньте на ці пухнасті обрамлення дзеркал.
Загалом, мені дуже сподобалась ця кав'ярня. Вона надзвичайно мила і продумана. Проте, меню тут доволі тривіальне, хоч і було доволі смачно.
Це мабуть не той заклад, у який я хочу постійно ходити, але ще раз навідатися точно планую.
