Eran la 1:56 de la madrugada en mi granja y decido ir a cosechar el trigo, tenia una buena siembra lista para dar su producto. Entonces fui por la cosechadora y me dirigí al campo de trigo comenzando la labor de cosecha a eso de las 2:58 de la madrugada, hay un dicho que cita “El que madruga Dios lo ayuda”. Cuando le dedico tiempo a este juego pienso en el arduo trabajo de los granjeros en la vida real, pero considero que la vida de campo es la más bonita que se puede tener.
It was 1:56 a.m. on my farm, and I decided to harvest the wheat; I had a fine crop ready for reaping. I got the combine harvester and headed to the wheat field, starting the harvest around 2:58 a.m.—after all, there is a saying: "God helps those who rise early." Whenever I spend time on this game, I think about the hard work real-life farmers do, yet I believe that country life is the most beautiful life there is.
Hay algo que de momento me tiene un poco ansioso al momento de cosechar y es que, como pueden observar en las siguientes capturas, la cosechadora a medida que va haciendo su trabajo va dejando una estela de desperdicio (paja) pero en realidad, aunque parezca desperdicio esto se puede aprovechar como para dar de comer a las vacas, o para venderlas, aquí todo tiene provecho. Entonces me frustra no poder aprovechar de esto porque para recoger la paja toca tener una maquinaria especifica o en su defecto una empacadora para poder guardarla posteriormente en un galpón.
There is something that at the moment has me a little anxious when it comes to harvesting and that is that, as you can see in the following screenshots, the combine as it does its job leaves a trail of waste (straw) but in reality, although it seems like waste, this can be used to feed the cows, or to sell them, here everything has a benefit. So it frustrates me not to be able to take advantage of this because to collect the straw it is necessary to have specific machinery or, failing that, a baler to be able to store it later in a shed.
Al cabo de unas horas, prácticamente amaneciendo todavía seguía la labor de cosecha. Fui por la volqueta, la posicioné cerca de la cosechadora para poder vaciar el trigo mediante el tobo dispensador.
After a few hours—with dawn practically breaking—the harvesting work was still underway. I went to get the dump truck and positioned it near the harvester so I could unload the wheat through the discharge chute.
Después fui a llevar el trigo a los silos de mi granja para almacenarlo y en su momento venderlo. Me ha tocado maniobrar debido a la falta de maquinaria, sinceramente no quiero pedir prestado en el banco, pero creo que en cualquier momento tendré que hacerlo porque la idea es automatizar la granja contratando trabajadores y tener un pico alto de producción en menor tiempo. También en otro campo tengo maíz listo para la cosecha espero me vaya muy bien con el por ahora me concentro en el cultivo de trigo.
Afterwards, I took the wheat to my farm's silos to store it for future sale. I’ve had to manage the work manually due to a lack of machinery; honestly, I’d rather not take out a bank loan, but I think I’ll eventually have to, since the plan is to automate the farm—hiring workers to achieve peak production in less time. I also have a corn crop ready for harvest in another field and hope it turns out well, though for now, I am focusing on the wheat.
