A big lovely hello to the plant lovers of this community! I hope all of you are doing well 😊. I am back with yet another plant recommendation post for all of you plant parents out here. You can never have too many plants, am I right or am I right? Are you a crazy plant lover with a busy schedule? Or someone who's lazy but also wants to keep plant babies. Then don't worry, cause I got your back boo. I have four low-maintenance plant recommendations for you all. And when I tell you they are low maintenance, they are low maintenance.

Here are the following four low-maintenance plants mentioned below:

I will also give you all pointers on how to take care of them and their benefits too!
Aloe

Aloe vera as we know has a lot of health benefits and is used in a lot of home remedies. Being so it also is a low-maintenance plant so it's a win-win situation, isn't it?
Before planting be sure to choose the right kind of pot for aloe. Terracotta pots in my opinion are the best, or if you could directly plant them in the soil they will grow out healthily.

Tips to take care of aloe:

  • Keep it in a well-lit space with lots of natural light coming in.
  • Do not overwater this plant, since it's succulent. You can easily get away with watering it once every two weeks.
  • Make sure your pot has a drainage hole so that the excess water can flow out.

Benefits of Aloe vera:

  • Helps to soothe burns.
  • Helps in accelerating wound healing
  • It has antibacterial properties and also helps to soothe sunburns.

Let's move on to the second plant, shall we?
Aglaonema

Aglaonemas are beautiful plants and they lift a space so much. Well, plants, in general, help us in doing that. They have prominent patterns on the leaves and they are "easy-going" plants. Hence I added it to my list of recommendations for low-maintenance plants. It is the perfect candidate.
How to take care of Aglaonemas:

  • They do well in indirect sunlight but will also thrive in low-light spaces, which is good for some forgetful plant parents. Note: Do not keep them in direct sunlight as it can burn the leaves.
  • Although these plants can survive in low humidity regions, it's best to mist them maybe once every two days.
  • Water the plant once every three to four days, and also make sure it has a drainage hole.

Benefits of Aglaonemas:

  • Helps to improve the air quality, since it is an air purifying plant.
  • If potted in beautiful-looking pots, it can be an aesthetic element in your indoor spaces

Let's now jump on to the third plant recommendation!

Pothos

I remember asking my father for a plant and he bought me Pothos. Pothos is my first plant and is my most loved one so far. It's extremely beautiful and is an easygoing plant. It is very easy to propagate too. Let's get on to how to take care of them, shall we?
**How to take care **

  • Keep it near a window sill, maybe your kitchen's window sill, also ensure it doesn't receive direct sunlight.
  • Water the plant once every two weeks. The plant needs to be watered more in bright light.

Benefits of Pothos:

  • It helps in purifying indoor air.
  • It is very easy to propagate, hence you don't have to buy a lot of these plants just one and you're sorted!

Let's move on to the last plant recommendation of this post:

Snake plant

I remember being so damn obsessed about snake plants. I wanted one so bad, for a very long time. Well, the plant you see in the photos was bought two years back. I was over the top when I bought this one! Let's dive in to know how to take care of these plants. Unlike your friends who are snakes these plants are good 🤣.

How to take care of snake plant:

  • You can get away with watering this plant only once every two weeks.
  • These plants don't need a lot of sunlight, they can be kept in an indirect sunlit space.

Benefits of snake plant:

  • Can be used as an aesthetic element in your spaces
  • It absorbs CO2 during the nighttime.

That was it for this post plant folks! Thank you so much for reading this far. I hope this post helped all of you to choose your next plant baby. Stay tuned for the next post ! Bye plant parents 🫶
