Hace algunos días estuve organizando algunas cajas en la biblioteca de mi casa y me encontré algunas bolsas con negativos de fotos, algunas de ellas ya las había visto reveladas pero había otras que no, me imagino que por esto de que a veces las fotos al revelarse se dañan.

Me puse a indagar un poco en si existía alguna app para revelarlas digitalmente y me encontré con varias pero Photo negative scanner fue la que funcionó para mí, aquí les cuento un poco del proceso.

Lo primero que vamos a necesitar es iluminar nuestros negativos, esto lo podemos a través hacer la propia Light box del la app , usando una propiamente dicha, a través de una página de que hará que la pantalla de nuestro PC emule una como: https://photomyne.com/backlight y bueno, yo use una lamparita que podríamos llamar una light box improvisada.

Seguido de esto debemos poner el negativo que queremos escanear y tratar de centrarlo lo mejor posible, la app te irá guiando si debes mejorar el enfoque o mejorar un poco la iluminación. Debemos capturar la "foto" y ahí la app hará su proceso de revelado, entregandonos la foto en los colores originales.

Como no tengo la versión paga pues quedaron con la marca de agua, pero igual estoy contenta con los resultados. Siento que la calidad de la foto varía con la calidad del negativo, probé unos y salían muy muy pixelados, se que estos no están perfectos pero se logra apreciar bastante bien la foto original.

Me divertí bastante haciendo esto, ya que les comentaba al inicio descubri fotos mías de bebé que jamás había visto. Esto es todo por hoy, gracias por llegar hasta aquí, adiós!

A few days ago I was organizing some boxes in the library of my house and I found some bags with photo negatives, some of them I had already seen developed but there were others that were not, I imagine that sometimes the photos get damaged when developed.

I started to investigate if there was an app to develop them digitally and I found several but Photo negative scanner was the one that worked for me, here I tell you a little of the process.

The first thing we need to do is to light our negatives, this can be done through the Light box of the app itself, using a proper one, through a page that will make the screen of our PC emulate one like: https://photomyne.com/backlight and well, I used a small lamp that we could call an improvised light box.

After this we must put the negative we want to scan and try to center it as best as possible, the app will guide you if you need to improve the focus or improve the lighting a little. We must capture the "photo" and then the app will do its developing process, giving us the photo in the original colors.

As I don't have the paid version, they were left with the watermark, but I'm still happy with the results. I feel that the quality of the photo varies with the quality of the negative, I tried some and they were very pixelated, I know that these are not perfect but you can appreciate the original photo quite well.
