Mi gusto por los juegos, es adquirido y me tomo demasiado tiempo desarrollarlo, en este post les hablo un poco sobre cómo se fue desarrollando y las obstáculos en el camino, espero les guste. Comencemos:

Para ponerlos en contexto soy hija única y la menor de mis primos, la persona más cercana a mi me lleva 10 años, en este sentido como que nunca hubo un incentivo con el que pudiéramos compartir gustos de esa clase, cuando yo tuve como la edad para esas cosas ella ya era adolescente y tenia otros gustos. De igual forma, mis papás son que si las personas más low-tech del planeta (hablo muy en serio) y son profesores universitarios entonces lo que recibí de ellos siempre fue más orientado hacia la academia, mis recompensas por buenas notas en la escuela o regalos de cumpleaños eran libros y yo podía pasar HORAS Y DIAS sin moverme solo por devorarme un libro. También hice ballet y baile flamenco por muchos años entonces las cosas iban orientadas en ese sentido, implementos de danza.

Naturalmente, siendo millenial y potterhead, jugué Harry Potter para PC, con su flipendo con acento españoleto pero nunca me llamo demasiado la atención, lo mismo mis amigos con el Gameboy y los cablesitos, en ese entonces nunca fui cercana con los videojuegos. Por alla en el 2006 y la verdad no sé con qué motivación, les pedí a mis papás un PSP, junto con el me compraron un juego de Sonic, FIFA y uno de Harry Potter. Para mi sorpresa el que más me engancho fue Sonic, creo que hoy día, después de PUBG es lo que más he pasado jugando, pero como al cabo de un año el PSP murió porque se le partió la pantalla un día que lo eche en el morral del colegio sin estuche, pero lo mismo, no significó una gran tragedia porque a pesar de que me gustaba jugar no era algo con lo que estuviera muy sentimentalmente ligada por lo mismo no hice mayor esfuerzo con mandarlo a arreglar y así transcurrió bastante tiempo sin que yo jugará mas que la culebrita en el teléfono. También tuve un acercamiento con Pokémon Go pero vivo en Venezuela y andar paseando por ahí con el teléfono en mano no es muy prudente, así que eso tampoco duró mucho.

Por alla en 2017, estuve de vacaciones en Bogotá y estaba fastidiando a mi primo mientras hacia una tarea para la universidad y me dijo ten, juega esto y me paso el control del Play y así nació esta joya, que es uno de mis mejores tuits. Ahí se despertó una chispa en mi, la chispa de competir y el apetito por ir subiendo de niveles en un juego, esto se trunco un poco porque sabemos que Dark souls es muy difícil😖

En 2018 empecé a ser niñera de mi primito, que obviamente esta obsesionado con Minecraft y el fue mi mentor, ahora mis otros primitos me piden consejos sobre hacer pozos y sembrar remolachas, también por esta época conocí Guinea Pig Bridge, como ya comenté en post anteriores. Pero el año de apogeo fue 2020, impulsado por la pandemia, por tener un teléfono que soportaba juegos pesados y por compartir con @richardalexis que si es un gamer nato. Empecé con PUBG, que ya les conté un poco mi experiencia al principio corría agachada y disparaba sin apuntar, luego descargué Calle of duty, también tuvimos la fase de Among Us y me fui interesando por otros juegos como ya les he venido mostrando en post.

La verdad me alegra mucho haberme interesado por los juegos, creo que me he vuelto un poco más competitiva desde que lo hice y he dejado algunos miedos, también he aprendido sobre disciplina y siempre es interesante ver qué se le ocurre a la gente, como jugar fútbol con carros. My taste for games, is acquired and it took me too long to develop it, in this post I talk a little about how it was developed and the obstacles along the way, I hope you like it. Let's start:

To put them in context I am an only child and the youngest of my cousins, the person closest to me takes me 10 years, in this sense as there was never an incentive with which we could share tastes of that kind, when I had as the age for those things she was already a teenager and had other tastes. Likewise, my parents are the most low-tech people on the planet (I am very serious) and they are university professors so what I received from them was always more oriented towards academia, my rewards for good grades in school or birthday gifts were books and I could spend HOURS AND DAYS without moving just to devour a book. I also did ballet and flamenco dancing for many years so things were geared that way, dance implements.

Naturally, being a millenial and potterhead, I played Harry Potter for PC, with its Spanish-accented flipendo but it never caught my attention, the same with my friends with the Gameboy and the cables, back then I was never close to video games. Back in 2006 and the truth is I don't know with what motivation, I asked my parents for a PSP, along with it they bought me a Sonic, FIFA and a Harry Potter game. To my surprise the one that hooked me the most was Sonic, I think that today, after PUBG is what I have spent more time playing, but after a year the PSP died because the screen broke one day when I threw it in the school backpack without a case, but the same, it did not mean a great tragedy because although I liked to play it was not something with which I was very sentimentally attached so I did not make much effort to send it to fix and so it was quite a long time without me playing more than the little snake on the phone. I also had an approach with Pokémon Go but I live in Venezuela and walking around with my phone in my hand is not very wise, so that didn't last long either.

Back in 2017, I was on vacation in Bogota and I was bugging my cousin while he was doing homework for college and he told me here, play this and passed me the Play station controller and that's how this gem was born, which is one of my best tweets ever. That's when a spark was awakened in me, the spark to compete and the appetite to go up levels in a game, this was truncated a little because we know that Dark souls is very difficult😖.

In 2018 I started babysitting my little cousin, who is obviously obsessed with Minecraft and he was my mentor, now my other little cousins ask me for tips on making wells and planting beets, also around this time I met Guinea Pig Bridge, as I commented in previous post. But the peak year was 2020, driven by the pandemic, by having a phone that supported heavy gaming and by sharing with @richardalexis who is a born gamer. I started with PUBG, which I already told you a little about my experience at the beginning I was running crouching and shooting without aiming, then I downloaded Calle of duty, we also had the Among Us phase and I was getting interested in other games as I have already been showing you in post.

I am really glad I got interested in games, I think I have become a little more competitive since I did it and I have left some fears behind, I have also learned about discipline and it is always interesting to see what people come up with, like playing soccer with cars.
