(ESP/ENG) El porque estoy celebrando navidad/ Why I'm celebrating Xmas since now

Hola Hive! Como están? Ya pusieron la decoración de navidad? Ya escucharon alguna gaita o música típica de navidad de su país? Ya vieron LOVE ACTUALLY? Ya tienen que planes harán para nochebuena este año?. El día de hoy vengo con una pequeña reflexión de porque este año estoy celebrando navidad desde los primeros días de noviembre.

Desde el primero de noviembre tengo en mi escritorio donde trabajo arbolito y pesebre o Belén, como ustedes le digan, y es que este año decidí celebrar navidad desde muy temprano por varias razones: la primera es que mi núcleo familiar (mis padres y yo) para la noche de Navidad estábamos confinados, ya que habíamos estado en contacto con alguien que dio positivo para covid, año nuevo fue un desastre, papá presentaba una sintomatología bastante fuerte y mamá una un poco más leve y yo solo podía pensar en si llegaria a tener otra navidad junto con ellos. Gracias a Dios, hoy todos estamos sanos, bonitos y gorditos y pendientes de celebrar la navidad.

La segunda razón es que de momento ya se reabrieron la mayoría de fronteras y gracias a la vacunación las tasas de contagio han bajado mucho, entonces las familias que no se ven desde antes de la pandemia esté año podrán reencontrarse de nuevo para celebrar. En este orden de ideas, y gracias a la vacunación también la mortalidad ha bajado y esa es una razón más para celebrar a quienes tenemos en presencia y conmemorar a los que ya no están pero que seguro habrían querido que celebrararamos. Celebrar el año pasado no se sentía bien.

Tercero y no menos importante, ME ENCANTA LA NAVIDAD y todo lo que viene con ella. Yo crecí en el seno de una familia muy católica y estoy acostumbrada a hacer las posadas y a la misa de Gallo, el amigo secreto en la oficina, también me gustan mucho el hacer de las hallacas (nuestra comida típica navideña) y sobretodo me gusta ver a mi familia reunida, cosa que gracias al éxodo venezolano a veces es un poco difícil.

Este año celebremos desde muy temprano la navidad y honremos el nacimiento de Jesús en nuestros corazones, creo que la gran mayoría tiene cosas por las que estar muy agradecidos. Esto es todo por hoy y desde ya, que tengan una muy feliz navidad.

Have you made any plans for Christmas Eve this year? Today I come with a little reflection on why this year I am celebrating Christmas since the first days of November.

Since the first of November I have on my desk where I work a tree and manger or Bethlehem, as you call it, and this year I decided to celebrate Christmas very early for several reasons: the first is that my family (my parents and I) for Christmas Eve we were confined, as we had been in contact with someone who tested positive for covid, New Year was a disaster, Dad had a pretty strong symptomatology and Mom a little milder and I could only think if I would get to have another Christmas with them. Thank God, today we are all healthy, beautiful and chubby and ready to celebrate Christmas.

The second reason is that for the moment most of the borders have been reopened and thanks to the vaccination the infection rates have gone down a lot, so the families that have not seen each other since before the pandemic this year will be able to meet again to celebrate. In this order of ideas, and thanks to vaccination, mortality has also dropped and that is one more reason to celebrate those who are with us and to commemorate those who are no longer with us but who surely would have wanted us to celebrate. Celebrating last year just didn't feel right.

Third and not least, I LOVE CHRISTMAS and all that comes with it. I grew up in a very Catholic family and I am used to the posadas and the Gallo mass, the secret friend at the office, I also love making hallacas (our typical Christmas food) and most of all I like to see my family together, which thanks to the Venezuelan exodus is sometimes a little difficult.

This year let's celebrate Christmas early in the morning and honor the birth of Jesus in our hearts, I think most of us have things to be very thankful for. That's all for today and from now on, have a very Merry Christmas.
