Mamma mía es una de mis películas favoritas y no es sólo eso, es una de mis películas de confort, de verdad no sé cuántas veces la he visto, todo esto porque pienso que es una película muy completa y aquí te explico el porqué, comencemos:

La película va de que una chica va a casarse y desea conocer a su papá, consigue el diario de su mamá y da con tres posibles hombres que podrian serlo y decide invitarlos a todos la boda. Tiene un elenco increíble de actores tanto estadounidenses como britanicos, está protagonizada por Meryl Streep y Amanda Seydfried, pero también tenemos la aparición de Colin Firth, Pierse Brosnan, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters and Dominic Cooper y eso creo que es uno de sus principales atractivos. Porque conocemos a esta gente de muchos otros proyectos y verla junta en una sola película es simplemente genial.

Aúnado al elenco hay algo de la película que hace que te puedas identificar con muchas situaciones que en ella suceden, no porque todos tengamos tres prospectos de posibles papás jajaja, pero el guión a medida que se va desarrollando refleja varias situaciones de nuestra vida que hacen que nos identifiquemos como el primer amor, el cierre de etapas y el comienzo de cosas nuevas, problemas económicos, problemas de relaciones, reencontrarnos con nuestro pasado, lo bien que lo pasamos con nuestros amigos y esto hace que la película funcione para públicos de todas las edades y condiciones.

Otra cosa que también está muy bien lograda de la película es la escenografía y los vestuarios, realmente te hacen sentir en Grecia en Verano y todo tiene un toque un tanto excéntrico, incluso podría decirse que caricaturesco que hace que la misma se sienta muy fresca y sea muy fácil de ver.

Como cereza del pastel tenemos: LAS CANCIONES DE ABBA

A mi particularmente me encantan, y además si algo saben hacer estos músicos es que sus canciones se sientan atemporales y sean excelentes, entonces toda nuestra historia se desarrolla mientras nuestros protagonistas van cantando y bailando lo que sumado con las cosas que ya he mencionado hacen de "Mamma mía" una excelente película.

Tal vez Mamma mía no sea la mejor de las películas pero tiene componentes como su casting, su soundtrack y su montaje que la hacen excelente, así que sino la has visto, que esperas?. Esto es todo por hoy, gracias por llegar hasta aquí!

Mamma Mia is one of my favorite movies and not only that, it is one of my comfort movies, I really don't know how many times I have seen it, all this because I think it is a very complete movie and here I will explain why, let's start:

The movie is about a girl who is going to get married and wants to meet her dad, she gets her mom's diary and finds three possible men who could be him and decides to invite them all to the wedding. It has an incredible cast of both American and British actors, it stars Meryl Streep and Amanda Seydfried, but we also have the appearance of Colin Firth, Pierse Brosnan, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters and Dominic Cooper and that I think is one of its main attractions. Because we know these people from many other projects and to see them together in one film is just great.

Besides the cast there is something about the movie that makes you can identify with many situations that happen in it, not because we all have three prospective dads hahaha, but the script as it develops reflects several situations of our life that make us identify ourselves as the first love, the closing of stages and the beginning of new things, economic problems, relationship problems, reuniting with our past, the fun we have with our friends and this makes the film works for audiences of all ages and conditions.

Another thing that is also very well done about the film is the scenery and costumes, they really make you feel like you are in Greece in Summer and everything has a somewhat eccentric, you could even say cartoonish touch that makes the film feel very fresh and easy to watch.

As icing on the cake we have: ABBA'S SONGS

I particularly love them, and also if there is something these musicians know how to do is to make their songs feel timeless and excellent, then our whole story unfolds while our protagonists are singing and dancing which added to the things I have already mentioned make "Mamma Mia" an excellent movie.

W Maybe Mamma Mia is not the best movie but it has components such as its casting, its soundtrack and its editing that make it excellent, so if you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for? That's all for today, thanks for making it this far!
